Lovely cottage very well equipped, Chris and Paul, the owners were very friendly and helpful and provided a very comprehensive welcome package. The home made Victoria sponge was delicious. You do need a car as there isn’t very much around the cottage itself but there is plenty to do within a few miles and beaches are easily reached too. We would recommend this cottage and stay there again if we were returning to the same area. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Bridles Farm stay Aug 2020
We stayed for 3 nights. Our welcome, accommodation and stay was spot on. Christine and Paul were very helpful, approachable and great with our kids. Fully recommended for families. The children especially liked the interaction with the hens which Paul kindly assisted with! Regards James, Stephanie, George and Florence

We had an absolutely wonderful week! The hosts are very attentive and clearly care for what they do.
We had an absolutely wonderful week! The hosts are very attentive and clearly care for what they do. The cottage was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. The farm is very remote with only a pub so amenities are low - Sherborne is quite close for shops etc. We did not feel we were missing anything though. The host had provided outside activities for the children and had DVDs available should we need them. There was a lovely welcome pack with cake, tea, coffee, butter and jam. There is also a laundry with products to use which was really useful with for kids clothes after a beach day. There is nothing that I would want to change other than that we needed to stay longer! Thank you Chris and Paul! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

You definitely need a car though as the only local amenity was the pub, however can recommend it as the menu was good and the landlord friendly.

Unclear at booking time who we were actually dealing with. Email from owner arrived quite late so some items duplicated in our online shop which was wasteful No hot water on last day disappointing.

Christine and Paul were very friendly and helpful. The welcome pack was appreciated, especially the lovely freshly baked cake. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with the exception of the dishwasher which left a gritty feel on the crockery. We would happily stay there again in the future.

We had an amazing break. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack was well thought out and the home made cake and jam were delicious! The cottage had everything we needed and was ideally located for exploring Dorset with our 7 year old. The beds were comfortable and we would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to other people. We will be back!

We recently spent a week here with my wife’s mother.Whilst the weather was not very good the accommodation was first class. There is nothing you could want more from a holiday home and the hosts Christine and Paul make you really welcome especially the home made sponge waiting for you on arrival. The cottage is sited in the countryside but is ideally located to visit numerous tourist attractions.

We stayed in Casterbridge for a week in May.
We stayed in Casterbridge for a week in May. It is a stunning well equipped property and was the perfect base. Our hosts were lovely, friendly and very welcoming. Attentive but not interfering. They provided a very thoughtful welcome basket, and many extras in the cottage. We were made to feel almost part of the family and they made our first visit to this part of Dorset a holiday to remember for all the right reasons. We would certainly stay here again.
