"First time I've ever left a review... In the main, couldn't fault the hotel at all. We had room ten which was far enough from the main area of the pub we didn't hear any noise at all. Room was really nice, cosy, comfortable & clean. No issues at all. Bed was super comfy & the shower was powerful. We had a wonderful time and I said I'd happily go back again. Breakfast wasn't too bad. Would have appreciated a lighter option like fruit and yogurt, but that was my fault for a weekend of over...

"Comfy bed, clean room. Travel kettle barely fit in tiny bathroom sink to fill. Shower was scalding hot had to run on cold to avoid injury. Good location for local attractions "

" had a to remove the loo paper before you had your shower, otherwise one would get a soggy loo roll as it was situated to near the shower . "We only stayed one night in a double room with en-suite in Hattie’s House which is a building across the car park and had a wonderful evening meal in the pub itself.The interior of the pub was exceptionally warm and inviting. The breakfast was good also."

Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range. Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked...

"The Brewers Arms has large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and maintained. It's a historic building so corridors are narrow, stairs are steep, doorways low and there's a bit of road noise through single glazed windows, but it is a charming pub with great beers and food and excellent staff."
