"This is a great place to stay just south of the river. I walked to Parliament Square in 35 minutes but also near Nine Elms Tube. Its a classic pub with rooms. My Fontera room was warm, clean and cosy. Nice bathroom with spacious shower. The room was small but I have had smaller in London. Big TV in room and big screen sports downstairs in the nice pub. "This place is spot-on! Friendly, CLEAN, convenient, CLEAN, quiet, CLEAN, safe and comfortable in a residential central area. OK, it's not the most modern, but who cares when it is CLEAN. Good cooked breakfast in the morning. Oh yes, did I mention that it is CLEAN!"

It's a little bit outside of the usual tourist city places so it's a little quieter, especially on the weekends. "It was easily accessible to Terminals 2 and 3. Never really have to go outside of the airport to walk to the hotel; just a short walk through the airport parking garage. The reception staff was very knowledgeable. I’d probably stay at this hotel again for a long layover. Bed was extremely comfortable. "

"We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this amazing hotel. The Cumberland is a great choice when visiting London especially if you are traveling with your kids. We reserved a junior suite which had a very comfortable pull out sofa already made up for our teenage daughter. The room was spacious and so very clean. The bathroom was amazing with modern decor and so warm! Honestly the best shower on our 2 week trip! It is a big hotel, but with real processes and trained staff in place to accommodate guests. There is such a great energy and vibe one feels as soon as you enter the property which was amazing and fun. Superb bar and nightly entertainment on lobby floor, amazing gym and conveniences to get food any hour of the night. Good security and the facilities are so updated and clean. This is an ideal location very close to Hyde Park and major attractions. Highly recommend this hotel and its amazing staff for your next trip to London "
