I spent three total nights in this hotel while on a vacation with my wife and two kids. This neighborhood (Nanshan) in Shenzhen is expensive for a person looking for something above a local hotel.
It's a little hard to find. The sign is big but figuring out the entrance took some energy. There is not a driveway and you have to check in on the 5th (?) floor after taking an unmarked elevator.
If you are new to China, you should take someone who speaks your language and Chinese to help you check in. I have worked in China for for more than 15 years and speak a smattering of Chinese. On the first night, our two-bedroom suite became two rooms due to a plumbing issue. We were effectively made whole, but it made for a 15 minute check-in with a lot of google translating. On the second check-in, we were in a suite but then had to work getting direction to it's location in another building via an unmarked elevator outside across the alley.
There was no natural light in the first room, just a fake plant/atrium thing outside a window. Kinda weird but probably made for a quieter room.
- there is no english television
- internet is no worse than anywhere else.
- breakfast is mostly chinese but should be ok for most
- building is odd the first time you approach it. (elevator entrance off of an alley)
