Wonderful surroundings inside and outside with room for kids and adults to enjoy grilling marshmallow roasting, the pontoon, kayaking,., fishing, tubing and the beautiful scenery and wildlife!

The house is spacious, beautiful, and very, very clean and the views of the lake are wonderful and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. If we are ever back in the area, we will be back.

Couples fishing trip
This property did not disappoint! No detail was spared in making this the perfect spot for comfort and relaxation. And the views! The property was designed and situated to take advantage of panoramic scenery. Our fisherman were especially appreciative of the private boat ramp and dock. There were 3 couples and we all commented that you couldn’t go wrong with any of the 3 bedrooms….all 3 were comfortable and had their own baths. We will definitely stay again if back in the area. Awesome trip!

High School Fishing Tournament
We brought several boys down for a high school fishing tournament on Lay Lake. Our stay was perfect! There was tons of space for us! The boys enjoyed all of the fishing off the property and off of the dock! We had an amazing time and made tons of memories!! Would love to stay again in the future!

Perfect! The Views are Amazing!
This home is a 10! When we walked through the door we knew we were at the right place. Clean, clean, clean!!! Lots of character, love all the sitting areas, a place for everyone. So peaceful, amazing views from every room . Lots of fun things to do, play games, enjoy the game room, fish on the pier, or rent the boat and jet skis. If I had to describe Selah Manor with three words they would be Breathtaking Views, Beautiful & Tranquil! I have to mention the Host, Micah. He’s very friendly & accommodating.

The Ultimate Lake House
My family loves to fish - and I (the mom) love the water and try not to think about the fish in it🤣. It's the best of both worlds in one magnificent spot😁. You can swim on one side and fish on the other! The views are amazing and the beds are VERY comfortable. We don't usually like sleeping away from home because that's not generally the case -- but huge win there!! We were in town for an archery tournament and we all couldn't have gone if we didn't find a dog friendly place to stay; so we are super grateful the owners love fishing and dogs. Luckily, they, also supply a vacuum and leaf blower😀. It was kinda a last minute adventure for us that we will always remember as the best adventure, ever.

Wow, what a fantastic place! Perfect for a large family getaway.
The perfect place! This home was beautiful! Fantastic location on the lake with beautiful yard and a nice fire-pit with comfortable chairs. Very spacious living areas with room for a large group with lots of seating. Large dining table and nicely outfitted kitchen (actually two)! Gated property with easy to use keypad entry. Our girls had plenty to do even though a mostly rainy stay as there is a nice pool table and fooseball table in the insulated garage. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very large and perfectly appointed. We are already planning our return for a summer get away so we can take advantage of the party barge and dock. Rent this home and you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful Lake House
House was beautiful with gorgeous views and was well equipped. Had everything you needed and more. Very well thought out. Staff was really nice and helpful and answered all our questions. Felt like you were on your own little island. Did not have any issues what so ever but was surprised of the surrounding neighborhood. A beautiful property to stay in, cook, relax, enjoy the view and all the amenities the property has to offer. We had 4 people but would also be great for a larger group and has another house on the property that is equally as beautiful. It was on the corner and had views from every angle. Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing.

The Absolute Best!
If you are coming to Lay Lake, or Shelby County at all this is by far the best place to stay. The lot is absolutely perfect on a peninsula on the main river channel with the best views from all sides, the house is breathtaking, and the representatives are super awesome and easy to deal with. I’d give 10 stars if I could. We will be booking again for our tournament next year I assure you if you get the chance you will not regret!

Beautiful Lakehouse
My husband, son and I surprised my dad for his 84th Birthday with a little vacation on the lake. We had a great time together making memories in your beautiful home! We loved the large rooms and especially the beautiful bathrooms and extra large showers. My mom cannot walk without assistance and has dementia. She needs to sit in her shower chair while I help bathe her. The extra large shower was so helpful for this! My husband and I especially loved that you left more than 1 trash bag and plenty of soap and toiletries. It was also great having more than one towel and one washcloth per guest. The snacks and coffee/tea station added a special touch. Thank you so much for being such generous and hospitable property owners. We definitely plan to visit again!

The house was clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of room to move around and the house stayed cool even though the temp was in the 90's. The covered boat dock was really nice and made my fishing trip so much easier. I actually had a cranking battery go dead on me and replacing it under the covered dock was really nice. Having a gate to enter the property was great. Really like the electronic door locks. Contacting the property contact person was easy and he returned my messages quickly. Will definitely stay at this house again.

Fantastic Family Time
This was our second stay at this beautiful lake house. The entire family, and grandkids, had a blast tubing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. We had some of the most incredible sunrises and sunsets, after the latter we had a campfire and smores. The home is exceptionally clean and kept up. All amenities one might need or desire to have for an intimate getaway are there. Such a blessing to Lay Lake. We'll be back!

We loved everything about this house from the open floor plan, the cleanliness of the house, comfortable beds, amazing views from inside the house, the fire pit by the lake and the paddle board and kayaks. The host met us at the house to give us the boat keys and he was very personable and courteous. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you!

Perfect for Quality Time with Family
We spent a delightful time in this spacious home celebrating several family milestones. The house had many family friendly spaces and also many separate rooms when you wanted some alone time. We appreciated the firewood and materials to make s’mores! One small piece of advice would be to bring enough dishwasher pods if you plan on cooking and cleaning a couple of days they provided 2 in our case but that’s a very small inconvenience.
