We were told there would be no one at the front desk but we were greeted by a lovely person who helped carry our bags upstairs and made sure we had everything we needed. Despite being above a busy restaurant it was very quiet.

Beautiful historic building, with modern updates in rooms. Great location. We liked easy self-check-in (arriving late we did not want to deal with scheduling check-in in advance like we had to do several times at other B&Bs and Inns elsewhere). Beautiful building. Very clean rooms. Spa like feel to the rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The only downside was that they had a live music downstairs in the evening and since our room was at the top of the stairs we could hear it quite a bit in our room. I would definitely stay again but would ask for a room further down the hall.
