Had a lovely stay at Shawingan Lake. The house was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Made good use of the hot tub! It was quiet and in a great location for all that we were doing in the area. Great trails!

Our family had an excellent few days stay here! We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, generously sized rooms, hot tub and deck and the peaceful location! Our host was quick to respond to communication, the check in process was a breeze and the home couldn’t be in a better spot- close to beaches, restaurants and activities.

Great house, great location
Exactly as described, large house, immaculate and extremely well appointed. Hot tub and BBQ were great additions. Very good location for the island and there’s a boat / SUP rental place 2 mins up the road. Would happily recommend and stay again.

We were visiting the area for the wedding of my nephew andShawnigan lake school and had the opportunity to spend 2 nights with my son and his family. They live in California so we don’t often get to see them. The property was ideal for a luxury stay. The hot tub was very popular and every detail had been thought out. The kitchen was stocked with every possible piece of equipment…and more! A choice of coffee maker,toaster,pots snd pans of every description a fridge full of condiments and spices. The pool table was also a huge attraction Many thanks

We had a lovely stay at this beautifully appointed home. We very much appreciated that basic condiments and seasonings were available! My only complaint would be the excavator noise coming from the property next door on Sunday afternoon which kind of spoiled the relaxation and made it difficult for our grandson to nap. Other than that, it was a great weekend.

Absolutely wonderful
The cottage is close to the lake and stores. The cottage itself is spotless. The place is spacious, it was easy to access when we got in. When we had to leave a day early the host refunded the extra day even though VRBO said it wasn’t refundable. He was very quick to reply to any questions I had during our trip. I strongly advice booking this place, it was beyond our expectations. Also it had A/C for the heatwave during our stay. The cottage was beautiful, we loved the indoor and outdoor fireplace. And the hot tub was amazing!
