Welcome to The Silvertip Lodge. Perhaps the best feature of this terrific cabin is the prime location, just 1 mile to Shaver Village! You'll be a short drive from the lake, so you can easily spend your days water skiing, boating, and fishing. If you're visiting during the winter months, you'll love skiing and snowboarding at China Peak Mountain Resort.

The Silvertip subdivision is nestled right in the heart of Shaver Lake, just one mile from the very popular village and a short drive to the lake.

This beautiful, 3 bedroom 2 bath home makes this a perfect destination for families & friends, sleeping up to 8. Spread out under the vaulted ceilings in the main living room while you cuddle up next to the stone-faced fireplace and stream some tunes. There is space for the entire family. The kids have a private large room upstairs, equipped with a TV and games. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything you may need to make a cozy home-cooked meal. Even enjoy your delicious meal while sitting on the front or back deck. Please note the deck and furniture is accessible May-Nov, weather permitting.

Towels - We DO provide clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.

Please note - This property does not accommodate boat or trailer parking. You can call Sierra Marina in advance to reserve a boat slip and overnight parking should you like to bring a boat.

Annual Shaver Trip
We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The accommodations were great and the back deck was such a refreshing spot to sit. The only issue we had was the code given for the trash cans didn't work. The kitchen was fully stocked, just really small. This was a quiet neighborhood and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jamie, the host, was super friendly and very pleasant to work with. I'd recommend this place to smaller families.

Great Place To Say
My family and I arrived just after 4:00pm. The cabin was just as explained on the website. Beautiful! We unpacked and started our vacation. We ran into a problem with the fridge and notified Jamie the property manager. She was super responsive and had a solution the next day. Thanks Jamie! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. The space was large enough for all of the family to hide away and read or take a well deserved nap. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The location was perfect with a few minutes drive into town and less that 10 minutes from Shaver Lake. The Internet connection was a bit slow and we had issues watching a move when the kid were online at the same time. Not a game changer. Overall we had a fantastic time at the cabin and appreciate Jamie's quick responses to our questions and concerns. We would come back in the future!

The experience was great. Everything we needed was just around the corner. The the fact we can be on the lake and come right in and relax is awesome. Will definitely rent again next time in the winter.

Really nice place to stay in during our snow trip. We had 2 families and a total of 7 guests, with 2 of them were toddlers and 1 teenager and the room set-up was perfect. We loved the outdoor deck, the living area was very cozy. Although the room with the bunks are perfect for the toddlers, they weren't as comfortable for the grown adults. The 2 other rooms were comfortable. And, remember to bring firewood for the fireplace! Then 30 minutes up the road was China Peak. The garbage area is a short walk away which was helpful. Only knock on the property was that the refrigerator wasn't keeping our food cold. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, would definitely stay here again.

Absolute Perfection
Our family of 4 along with another family of 4 stayed at this rental property and we all agreed that is was perfect. The kids had their own shared space, the parents had their own room, it was clean, all the right amenities and had items we didn't even realize we needed♡ The bottle of wine won us parents over too (such a sweet gesture). We loved the outdoor patio and enjoyed playing games and talking in the living room. Overall it was the perfect family retreat and all 8 of us loved this rental property. Fabulous weekend getaway!
My husband and I took our three daughters plus one of their friends to Shaver for the weekend. Hubs took the kids to China Peak on Saturday while I stayed holed up in the cozy cabin grading papers. All of us had a fantastic weekend! The cabin had every single thing we needed: Clean, cozy atmosphere, kitchen full of necessary (and quality!) tools (I did lots of cooking...and eating), comfy beds with plenty of covers, steady wifi and Netflix ready to go, and snow toys on the back porch. We'll definitely book this property again. Oh! One thing: the village is super close (1.3 miles, I think), but I didn't feel comfortable enough to let the girls walk that distance on the side of 168. I drove them to a friend's cabin (off Dorabelle). In summer, I wonder if there's a way to walk it that's off the main road...? We'll have to try it out next time.

Not only was the cabin perfect for us and our group but Jamie was an excellent host. She was in constant communication with us and updated us on weather conditions as they arose. The house had everything we needed and the owner was even trying to remove snow when we arrived! We were very impressed!
