Welcome to your mountain retreat at Casita Villareal! This dog-friendly cabin offers guests two levels full of comfort, plenty of space for the group to unwind. One bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs provide the beds for eight occupants. Relax in the living area by the gas fireplace on cold days and watch your favorite show on the flatscreen TV available. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to cook meals for the whole crew! This cabin also features a large deck with an outdoor dining area and a gas grill, creating the perfect spot for cookouts.

Casita Villareal is located in the East Village neighborhood of Shaver Lake and is walking distance to the shore of Dorabella Cove. All the shopping and eating establishments in town will be at your fingertips. Shaver Lake is popular for water sports activities including but not limited to water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. If you and your group are fans of skiing and snowboarding, you'll be thrilled to know China Peak Mountain Resort is 19 miles away and offers 1,679 feet of vertical skiing serviced by seven chairlifts.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Close to lake - Dog Friendly Cabin
This rustic dog friendly cabin is walking distance to the lake and has a nice floor plan. The kitchen is roomy and the attached laundry room has an extra counter for storing supplies. Great set up for preparing vacation meals and has a wonderful deck with two tables. The bedrooms are a nice size. Has worked well for our family of 8 (4 Adults, 4 kids).

Weekend Getaway
There was plenty of space for my 7 guests. With a relaxing view from the back porch. Stores and Shaver Pizza were an easy 5 minute walk from the place which was nice. Kitchen had lots of items for cooking and there was a wide selection of entertainment (board games, puzzles, books, & movies).

Homey Stay at Casita Villareal
Very comfortable weekend for five adults and two dogs. We fixed two dinners and enjoyed playing games after watching MLB on tv while dogs could run inside and out safely. Breakfast was enjoyed under the pine trees out on the deck. We had an amazing hike to Dinky Lakes on Saturday and enjoyed walking at ShVer Lake Sunday.

My family and I stayed here for a ski weekend and would stay here again. The house was clean, spacious and in a great location right next to town. It was a cold weekend and we liked that the house was equipped with a fireplace, a wall heater and enough space heaters for each room plus some. Washer and dryer came in handy as well. WiFi was not the greatest, just slow.

Amazing!!
Has a ton of games, fenced up backyard which was great for the doggies! The kitchen has all the pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. you need! We were able to cook warm meals, bake, and grill! Amazing place and amazing rooms!

Great location.
Overall, the house was adequate. Location was close to town and walking distance to the lake. The deck was lovely for outdoor dining and hanging out. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the cabin was pretty dingy and dirty. Definitely a rustic cabin. The carpets especially need to be replaced or at least thoroughly cleaned. But overall we had a great trip to shaver lake.
