Step back in time with this classic vintage cabin built in 1930, now fully upgraded and expanded for modern comfort. As one of the first cabins in West Village, it occupies a mostly level lot with ample parking, offering an excellent location close to town with easy winter access.
Nestled among redwoods and wildlife, this home provides a true mountain cabin experience in a convenient location for exploring. Enjoy a leisurely stroll to nearby restaurants and pubs, or take a short drive to the lake marina for pontoon boats, fishing boats, kayaks, or stand-up paddleboards. Scenic mountain biking trails await in the warmer months!
Inside, the modern renovations make this two-story home perfect for socializing. The well-equipped kitchen, with a bar seating four, makes meal preparation a delight. The dining table seats eight, ideal for family gatherings. Post-dinner, enjoy a board game, cozy up by the gas fireplace for a movie, or have fun with the foosball/ping-pong table. The covered deck offers additional outdoor enjoyment with a gas grill and picnic table for alfresco dining.
Check out this cabin if you're thinking of experiencing the best of village life.
Things to note:
Please note that, like many properties in the area, our cabin does not have air conditioning. The surrounding redwoods and the cool mountain air generally help keep the cabin comfortable during the warmer months. Additionally, there are some fans provided to help ensure your comfort.
There is a queen sofa bed in the living room. Parking is available for up to three vehicles.

Getting Around
We suggest using your own vehicle to get around, though Uber and Lyft are available on busy weekends. You are more than welcome to walk, jog, or bike around the neighborhood! It is our favorite way to get around in this neighborhood! (we leave the cars parked!) 4 wheel drive and tire chains are strongly encouraged during winter months, and may be required by California Highway Patrol if there's snow in the forecast. The nearest Airport is Yosemite International Airport.

4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas and other provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.
5. Be a good neighbor! Please NEVER leave trash outside where it will attract bears and other wild animals. There are community dumpsters. If you're parking on the street, park the correct way and don't block the street, and follow the signs in the community to make sure you're driving the right direction. This is a tight-knit mountain community and we all need to do our part to keep it clean and beautiful!
