"Cute. Small. Kitchen well-equipped, including Keureg with some pods provided for coffee & tea, sweetener & powdered cream (morning coffee info is important to me!). Near Empire State Trail, which was perfect because I was biking in and out from the trail. Host very accessible. Location appears rural, but there are active train tracks very nearby, so it can get noisy, but it settles a bit at night. I was confused because in the listing it says sleeps 4, and in the photos the upstairs beds looked...

"We were in the area for a family wedding and this rental worked perfectly. It really was a home away from home, full kitchen, laundry area. The 2nd floor had a seperate living area, full bath and sleeping area for my son’s family with 2 small children. Had I stayed longer I may have enjoyed the outdoor hot tub."

"The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, very clean, and oh so comfortable! It is very spacious and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The property and surrounding area is so beautiful - the fall colors were just stunning! The location is perfect - only 3 miles from stores, gas stations, etc., but far enough away to feel secluded and enjoy the peace & nature. The owner is very sweet, and communication was a breeze. "We had a wonderful stay at the lakeside cabin with picturesque views of the lake and colorful mountains in the back drop. We enjoyed evenings on the deck lakeside sipping wine and watching the waterfowl. The cabin itself is cozy and tastefully decorated, with very comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this gem of a get away!"

"We ended up not staying. The description says it is a cabin, it is an old manufactured home (mobile home). When we pulled in there was items scattered around the yard, the grass hadn’t been mowed. When we got to the first step the wood need to be replaced. There were holes in the soffit. Once inside the couches looked old and dingy. The inside needed to be spruced up. I contacted the property owner and told her our concerns. Her response was “Things and furnitures are as in the pictures posted...

"We come to Cooperstown every fall and had a wonderful stay and will be staying here on our future visits. Diane and Glen are wonderful people and do a great job. The cabin was really comfortable and everything was updated and felt brand new. The scenery around the cabin was beautiful as well. It is an easy drive into town and to local attractions. It was just a really pleasant and enjoyable stay. We highly recommend! "

"We needed to be in Cooperstown for an extended business stay. The Double Play cabins were perfect for us. We were able to set up a mini office and prepare all of our meals there. The kitchen was fully functional with everything you need plus the grill outside was great. We need to be back next year and hoping with can stay with them again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!"
