"Cottage was easy to find and the instructions to get the keys from the key box were easy to understand. The village is a quiet rural community, up a steep hill from the local pub with no other facilities but it's a short drive into Ashbourne. The property is nicely decorated throughout with all mod cons. The bathroom is as good as it looks in the pictures. A shame that there is no garden and minimal roadside parking."

"The cottage is very welcoming and is equipped with everything that you may need. It is very central to the lovely village with shops and pub almost within touching distance. The off-road parking is a boon although there was always space on the road if more than one car was used. All-in-all an excellent stay and no doubt we will return as there is so much to see in the area and the cottage makes a wonderful base."

"The quality of the property, particularly the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms, is a bit shabby - feels more like a 'Home of Multiple Occupancy' than a holiday cottage. The big living space is great, though, ideal for the ten adults and 2 children in our group. The kitchen needs some TLC - the equipment is old and some of it not very good (the can opener doesn't work, the cafetiere leaks coffee grounds into your mug, one of the kettles is a bit ropey) but the mezzanine style works well in terms...

"The house is lovely, very comfortable beds and Sue was a very friendly and helpful host. We stayed for the weekend whilst doing a charity hike nearby and loved exploring the area. Perfect base for our family of 4!"

"The road up is definitely steep. And hard to park. But its a great location. Close to the cable cars. The house is kind of oddly decorated but was clean and loved the view from the table outside in the morning."

"Very clean!! Check in/ key collection easy. A personal friendly welcome from the owner upon arrival to give tour and show how to use facilities, Property had everything needed and more. Comfy bed, great kitchen facilities, hot tub easy to work, fast wifi. Beautiful area. Views from hot tub were lovely. Easy to relax. "Great location, helpful hosts. Property a little tired in parts with upgrades an ongoing process. Some areas need early attention and a welcome pack of essentials, which we would happily pay for, would be useful. Adding WiFi would also be great."

"This Location worked very well for us with plenty of room and plenty of bedrooms. The bungalow was more spacious on the inside than it looks from the outside. There was a container in the kitchen that said T but there was no tea in it and no shampoo body wash or anything of that nature in the bathrooms which would’ve been helpful for our guests if they had been provided"
