"Loved the decor of this place which was why we chose it . Didn’t disappoint. Really comfy bed with massive duvet to keep warm under. Loved having the separate lounge area as well. Efficient hot water systems in place for the shower and sink. Would have preferred a more traditional Sri Lankan breakfast but cannot complain about what was provided. "

"Beautiful castle like hotel with excellent staff . Excellent scenery and excellent food. The only thing bad is the journey to the hotel is horrifying especially in the evening. It is not easy to find the place."

"We had a lovely stay at this delightful bungalow which was the ex governors bungalow built 110 years ago. Very friendly staff who made our stay very comfortable preparing packed breakfast for our early start to Hortons Plains."

"We planned on staying at this hotel for the night, as we were in nuwar elya for one day. We had planned to go and see one of the tea plantations, and it's factory. The hotel staff were friendly, and the room was reasonable value for money. It was not a spotless room, but was not extremely clean either. It was also close to a local area with shops."

"I booked this hotel because it said breakfast was included and it seemed a simple but well located property. I was wrong. They did not honor the “breakfast included” promised. The guy who received me upon arrival could not speak even a little English. There is no restaurant near this place, so prepare to walk a lot or pay for transport. "The opportunity to stay in a villa surrounded by tea fields was too hard to miss out on. We arrived from Badula on the train and were welcomed by the staff at the house. It was clean and comfortable and a 15 minute walk into town. The next morning we were given a great breakfast and then walked into the tea field adjoining the property. "The place looked nice. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Took personal care of their guest and even had suggestions. Gave us a little gift at our checkout. Breakfast was good however for lunch and dinner you need to go into town. It was heavily windy and raining during our stay so phone signal and internet was weak but they had a pool table, games and books to keep us entertained. Would of loved to enjoy the balcony but was closed due to the weather damaging parts of it but the friendly service made up for it as they offered us coffee & tea throughout our stay. Not a 5⭐️ hotel but as advertised little villa with 4 rooms. The downstairs washroom need an upgrade but rest of the cottage was nicely staged."
