"We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! Our lovely host, Marion, shared the rich history of the barricks with us and we were amazed at how much work went into restoring the property. "Kind host and responds relatively quickly. It is a bit of a drive from everywhere though so maybe rent a car cause taxis are expensive in area. But great experience overall. The host is very kind and helpful with all questions. Would recommend."

"We needed a place that was fairly close to Limerick, the Burren and within walking distance of the shops and cafes. This house fitted our needs. Communication with the owner was good and instructions for entry and operation of the backdoor lock were clear. The kitchen was well equipped and the two bathrooms made getting ready for the day easier."

The property was clean and tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside space was great, we enjoyed using bbq and dining on the decking area which had a large table to seat us all. "We had 8 adults to celebrate 2 birthdays in Ireland! The house & surroundings were impeccable. We were able to let ourselves in very easily. Peter checked in to see if there was anything we needed. He also checked in days before to offer any last minute items. A wonderful host, in deed! The beds were comfy, plenty of hot water, nice towels & the list goes on. "Modernist and comfortable self catering cottages with the best, friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. We stayed 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. The kitchen had full sized appliances that made cooking fun. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for setting out to explore Limerick City, county attractions, and local gems. There is a coffee shop attached that brings locals and visitors together. It’s a piece of heaven."
