Great stay
"I stayed at the Holiday Inn Jinshan in late October for one night on a business trip. This hotel was recommended by my host company as being the newest hotel in the area. My stay was great. The check in process was quick without any issues. This hotel site was just opened in 2018 so it is very new. ..."

Songjiang District

3.5/5(4 area reviews)

The churches and gardens are just a few things visitors like about Songjiang District. Sheshan Hill and Shanghai Sculpture Park are worthwhile spots to check out, and you can hop on the metro at Songjiang Xincheng Station or Kaiyuan Plaza Tram Stop to get around the larger area.

“If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.”

― Mario Andretti

In China, everything is like this. Unless you are away from the cities, construction, traffic and just buying some noodles is moving at a pace that seems just a little out of control. It has the feel of a pressure pot that has been turned up just a bit too high.

However, I have lived here for a while now, and I have become used to the mad cap pace that everything is running at. Once you get adjusted to that pace, it is a dream come true for the traveller. Planes, trains and a shit-load of restaurants and hotels all linked into convenient apps (well, not so much the restaurants) such as Ctrip.
