"Staff is great. Very conveniently located but I’m learning that nanjing road, while very convenient, is the ultra touristy area of Shanghai. On the plus side, shops will accept cash in this area. Usually they seemingly only accept Alipay/wepay. We used the pool and it was clean and in a cool atrium, although very chlorinated."

"Stayed in many hotels during my 2 weeks around China and this was the only one with obvious "classical luxury" vibe from overall design to the small amenities. King sized bed and duvet were super comfortable. Amazing Bund view but be noted it's towards the North Bund, not the old Bund. Staff were efficient, I had a small issue with the bath tub and a technician arrived at my room door for fixing within a couple minutes. Staff at the lounge were kind and attentive. Good quality food and beverage....
