Awesome Stay in Shandon
The Shandon House is incredible and a great place to stay. We truly enjoyed the home, pool, jacuzzi, and the kitchen is amazing! It is quiet and peaceful and all the bedrooms were great. The property manager was helpful upon arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Shandon House is a fantastic rental spot for a large group. It has everything you need for adults and kids alike. The pool and hot tub are fantastic, and the kitchen is perfect for cooking and serving amazing meals. The house is in a beautiful location on a hill with an amazing view, but the seclusion means that restaurants and grocery stores are about 20 miles out (so you have to prepare for that). Regardless, we would stay here again in the future.

great end of summer get away
Perfect place for end of summer getaway with friends! We had four families and enjoyed afternoons by the pool, epic dinners cooked in the amazing kitchen and on the BBQ, poker and games in the family room, and yoga with views from second floor and pooiside There was plenty of space for all 15 of us adults and teenagers. We only wish that the house was closer to the wineries! There were a few hiccups which the management addressed promptly.

At one time, we had six people cooking, and nobody was in each other's way. having two living rooms was a welcome plus; the kids could watch their show while the adults watched theirs. Overall a very comfortable house that we will be rebooking.

The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for you you cook up a feast. You can enjoy the feast as you watch sunset over the rolling hills that stretch out forever, then enjoy the night sky in all its glory as there is very little light pollution. The house is very luxurious and accommodating, and I lover how they have upgraded their systems to make things easier, such as the spa which is now an easy 1 button push to start! Looking forward to staying again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shandan house. There were 7 couples and we had plenty of space for shared times as well as alone time. The kitchen had any utensil or amenity you can think of. The view was breathtaking and we really enjoyed spending time outside or in the jacuzzi.

Hilltop Tuscan Getaway

Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect place for our reunion of college roomies-we liked that it is @20 miles away from town, on its own hilltop with pretty outdoors (although quite sunny with no umbrellas and little covering from outdoor sun). Big problem- spa quits heating at 10- should be at least 11 pm. Several complaints regarding condition of mattresses and low water pressure in showers. One toilet had problems. Disappointed that most remote controls were with old or empty of batteries. Also, the house has a sound system but we were given no instructions on how to operate- for music. Lots of towels and kitchen equipment ! We definitely enjoyed our stay- visiting wineries, Sensorio, downtown, etc. Hope this helps you make a few improvements.

Far enough away from neighbors that you can be a little loud.We had a family reunion and everyone (infant to 78) had a great time. We spent the days in the pool and evenings watching spectacular sunsets. Also saw some great bugs! They were all harmless, but really interesting, especially to the 5&6 year olds.I can’t say enough bout the PRVR staff. Very responsive and helpful.Great house, great location, great experience.I would recommend bringing a non-slip bath mat for the master shower, though

Lovely home, amazing setting. Perfect for our Great grandpa get-together. Not having to be careful about noise disturbing the neighbors is a HUGE benefit. We spent most of our time on the patio. We brought cornhole boards and played amazing sunset games. The house is beautiful, but the sunsets were spectacular. It was a bit pricey, but the &amity enjoyed it.

Spectacular House!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for my friend's bachelorette party and we were blown away with the house! It was even better in person than what was shown in the pictures! We were in awe from the moment we drove up the epic driveway that was framed with the tall Italian Cypress Trees, to the top of the hill where the house stood with amazing views all around! We had plenty of room for the 14 of us, and everybody slept very comfortably. If there was any time that someone wanted to take a nap or a break in the middle of the day, it was no issue for them to retreat and have peace and quiet. That's how massive this house is! It was absolutely perfect for us. The staff at Paso Rentals were incredible in answering any questions we had throughout our stay. We had a little issue with the hot tub and pool heating and they did everything they could do to solve the issue. Although it didn't get resolved during our stay- they reimbursed us the heating fee which was greatly appreciated! Amazingggg customer service! The house is fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals there, and the bar has an ice machine which was great for making drinks, etc. The onlyyy con of our stay was the little black bugs that seemed to be everywhere when you went outside. They were mainly attracted to light colors (so if you were wearing white you would have them all over) and a few of my friends said they felt little bites/stings from them, but nothing that lasted or caused redness. So they were relatively harmless but quite annoying. I had never seen that type of bug before, and they could have just been during the Springtime but the pool was also filled with them, so it was helpful to get the pool cleaner going as much as possible. Nonetheless, we loveeddddd our time here and would highly recommend it!!

Business Meeting Location
This property was perfect for a business retreat / meeting. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms in most of the rooms were great. There is one room with bunk beds that has no private access to a shower, so folks in that room need to use a shower in a different room, but that worked out fine. All items worked perfectly and there were no issues at all. Communication with the property personnel was quick and check in was very easy. There is a Golf Course within 10 minutes with a great restaurant if food needs to be ordered. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Amazingly Beautiful House
This property is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Very secluded and so peaceful with breath taking views. The house itself is gorgeous inside and out with plenty of space for all. We had a girls weekend/staycation here with 16 of us and it was absolutely perfect. So convenient that every bedroom has its own bathroom and the kitchen is huge! We were able to cook all meals no problem. The huge bar area inside the house was super fun to hang out around and enjoy drinks together. You really never have to leave once you get there! We didn’t get the opportunity to utilize the pool considering we stayed here in January and it was way to cold. I mean we were allowed to use it but nobody was brave enough to withstand that kind of cold! Haha It was beautiful to look at though while relaxing outside in the awesome lounge chairs. We did use the big hot tub though and that was pretty amazing. Overall the whole experience was exceptional! The property managers have super quick response times. I did have questions during our stay and they would respond in a very timely manner. And super professional! I definitely give this house 5 stars and then some! Thank you for this unforgettable weekend in the beautiful Shandon House!

Amazing long weekend getaway
This sprawling property is perched on top of a hill just outside of Paso Robles in Shandon. It is about a 20 minute drive to the downtown area. The house itself is up a long driveway and a glorious site through the gates. It was easy to access and very clean/tidy when we arrived. The Wifi worked great, and we were able to kick our feet up and watch movies and sports in the main living room. We fit about 8 cars in the parking area, and had enough beds for the entire group to sleep comfortably. Most bedrooms feel like a primary, with attached bathrooms and large showers. We BBQ'd multiple days on the outdoor grill and relaxed in the hot tub most evenings, taking in gorgeous sunsets over the valley. There was great golf at Hunter Ranch just down the road, and with a large group, we were able to get Mexican food and Pizza delivered for dinners. The house was exactly what my group of friends and family needed, I would recommend it for any group looking to have a grand weekender.
