"This is a very nice inn, close to the train station. My wife and I stayed here only one night; the proprietors were very kind and directed us to a British pub for dinner which was wonderful. The next day we hiked along the cliffs to Dover, enjoying the amazing scenery. Highly recommend!"

About a 10 minute walk to the Canterbury Cathedral. There is a Tessco Express and pub near by. Highly recommended. "

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."

The location is fantastic for Tenterden and other nearby spots (eg Chapel Down) and the cottage itself is superbly kitted out to a very high standard. Add to that the excellent hosts and oh so thoughtful little touches, and I’ve no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic self catering away break."
