Cute 730 sf apartment with fish and fishing themes. 4 miles from edge of town.

Cozy open floor plan great for all to socialize, even the person doing the cooking . Has a very nice space for BBQing and hanging out next to a small stream running throughout the property.

This is the perfect Alaskan property. It’s as quaint and endearing as an Alaskan get away can be. The hosts are very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back.

Awesome Seward Property for Great Alaska Vacation
This is an authentic Alaska stay. Great location close to Seward. Private relaxing location to soak up all Alaska has to offer. The host is so nice and has great stories. I would love to go back and hear more Alaska living stories. Highly recommend this location.

Great getaway in Seward
During our visit to Seward we enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Fisherman’s retreat. The location of the cabin is perfect, just outside of the city proper but close to anything you need. The morning views of the mountains are spectacular! Nola, the property manager, was super helpful and took excellent care of us during our stay whenever we had any questions. Highly recommend this accommodation if you are visiting Seward!!

Seward Sensation
Dean and Lona are wonderful hosts. Warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Fishermen’s Getaway. The accommodations are clean and homey. A well equipped kitchen with everything you need! I would definitely recommend staying here and wish we could stay longer!

Great Seward location
Location of property very close to Seward, just minutes, yet had a remote feel to it. Host was great at communication and had some welcome treats. She was also helpful in answering local questions. We just wish we had booked a longer stay!

Nice clean property in a quiet neighborhood but still close to town. Hosts came over and introduced themselves and easy to get in touch with if needed. Had everything my group of 4 adults needed for our short stay in Seward.

Even better than expected
This is a beautiful property tucked away in the trees. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything was very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. There is plenty of space outside to eat, play games or just sit by the fire and enjoy the view. We would definitely stay here again.

Lona (the owner) is terrific, very friendly knowledgeable and ready to offer help or advice. Of course we loved her cookies, but her helpfulness and perfect balance between seeing that we had everything we needed and giving us our space was even better. We felt like we lived in Seward for those too short days and it's a fun place to live!

The title pretty much sums it up. The location was 10 mins from the docks. Safeway was 5 mins. Plenty of good food close by. The host was a doll!! very friendly and helpful. I'll use this place again!

It was a neat, unique, creatively decorated property with a super host. She had the place spotless and greeted us with a tour. Lucky as she works. It is just outside Seward and easy to get to. It rained and rained the 2 days we were there and the roofs over the porches made access easy. A nice covered area with a picnic table, grill and a firepit. Would go there again. Really liked the bear paw cookies.

Lorna and Dean personally welcomed us, and were available when we couldn't figure out how to lock up. Their place is comfy, and has so many wonderful decorations, and kitchen gadgets. Lorna even had coffee ready for me. That was a great and special touch! Wish we could have stayed for a week. Thank you.

Lona was a great host. She came over and introduced herself and brought cookies. We loved the firepit and view. The location to Seward was awesome. She told us about the bear weir so we went and saw that. She was full of information. We had a great time. Let us use the freezer after we checked out for our fish.

Overall great stay at Fisherman’s Get Away! Place was clean, cozy and as described on line. Loved the “extras” that were included - Lona’s bear paw cookies, the outdoor games, coffee set up for the morning to name a few. Location was perfect, just 5 minutes from Seward. The only complaint I would have is that the host stated she would leave the light on for us as we had a late check in, but she must have forgotten. It was challenging to find door to unload after midnight.

Every possible thing a guest could need was provided! This is exceptional. Our stay was fantastic, and the steam shower was an unexpected WOW! The space is comfortable, clean, and very doable for two couples. We were greeted warmly and communication was very smooth and timely. We would stay again!!

We had a great little stay and Loni was wonderful. Sweet spot they have there, it was cozy and beautiful. The grounds are lovely and anything you Needed was provided. Close enough to town to go and explore, far enough away that you don’t have the lights or the sounds.

Had a great stay at the cottage. Lona was a wonderful host. She was communicative about the booking and accommodated our date change after booking the property. The property was well stocked and she took care to make it feel like home. There is a great shared outdoor space that includes a fire pit and backyard games like horseshoes and corn hole.
