Please note:
1. Fresh linens and towels provided as well as a starter pack of k-cups, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. Hair dryer included in each bathroom.
2. Chalet has central heating and air conditioning.
3. Outdoor surveillance has four cameras facing the driveway, back, front and side of the property.
4. Use of maintenance closet, owner's closets and crawl space are not permitted.
5. $300 security deposit hold (refundable assuming no damages) and signature on the rental agreement are required for booking. The terms in the rental agreement are not negotiable so please inquire if you'd like to read it before booking. Check in details, including the cabin access code, will not be provided until this step is complete.
6. A late check out fee of $100 per every 30 minutes past 10:00am EST will be assessed to guests who do not check out on time. Standard check out time is 10:00am EST.
7. Host promptly responds daily between 9am and 9pm. Messages outside these hours may experience a longer response time.

We had our daughters & their families come stay w us for a few days. The home was clean, plenty of room & stocked with some starter coffee & toiletries. We enjoyed the local restaurants & the jeep rental place on the corner was awesome as well.

Perfect Cabin for a Family!
We loved The Potter’s House! We could have never left the cabin or Wear’s Valley and been perfectly happy. We had 4 adults, 4 small boys, and a 16 month old. We all loved the pool table and the hot tub-our boys never left the game room! It’s conveniently close to anything you may need and far enough out it doesn’t feel like busy Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The only reason I gave 4 stars on accuracy of listing was because after being there in person the living room photos made the room look much bigger than it is so I was shocked that it was quite a bit smaller AND really it didn’t even matter because we loved it so much! Andrea, the host was very quick to respond to any questions I had. SUCH a great experience! We will definitely be back to The Potter’s House! The perfect place for a big family!

Wonderful family vacation at Potters House
Wow! This property is so great! Absolutely perfect for our group of 6 adults and one child. The location is everything we could’ve hoped for… close enough to get out and explore but quiet enough to relax in the evening (and some mornings!) The property is exactly as pictured and then some. The perfect space to gather for a meal or games while also being spread out enough for some privacy or to do your own thing. Our host Andrea was very easy to reach and always responded quickly. We took full advantage of the breathtaking views, open floor plan and super comfy beds! Cannot recommend Potters House enough and would absolutely love to visit again!

The cabin was exactly as described and everything was very clean upon arrival. We loved the mountain view, and my teens enjoyed the pool table immensely. It is in the perfect location-- close enough to enjoy all the nearby attractions, but tucked away in a quiet area that felt private and serene. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

Excellent Place!
Everything was as seen in the pictures and advertised. It was a very comfortable place to hang out for a few days. We would definitely consider staying there again. The sunrise was outstanding. A few things to consider: the water pressure is quite low, presumably because of the well water pump, the linens (sheets and bath towels) are not white, and there is a bit of road noise. None of these things were enough to reduce the rating. If the place had not been so clean, I might have been bothered more about the linens, but I just tried to ignore it. Pure white is common in the hospitality industry and it makes it very easy for guests to check cleanliness. I highly recommend this place.

Impromptu Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Potters House! This was a quick impromptu trip for my husband and I, and we couldn’t be more thankful that we chose this location. The location and views were top notch and the chalet was everything it was described and more!!! It’s a quick 10 minute trip to the Townsend entrance to the National Park and around 15 minutes to everything Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer! Andrea was the sweetest and her communication was second to NONE! We absolutely will be keeping this cabin in mind for future stays! Ps. Stay here! You won’t regret it!

Thanksgiving Family Vaca 2023
The property was as listed and better in person. Plenty of room, with an open concept for all 10 adults for Thanksgiving Family vacation. The property manager made it so easy to message for anything needed. Just a quick trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg for all the fun we wanted to do and then to come “Our Vacation Home” to relax the rest of the night was everything we were looking for! Would definitely recommend and would absolutely come back to the chalet again!

Convenient location and good view but unclean
We enjoyed the location and view at this cabin, but it was old/outdated and dirty. There was dried food around the edges of the table and counter and mountains of dust under the bunk beds (where my two- and three-year-olds were undoubtedly going to play). The showers were difficult to operate and the bathroom rugs were so dirty we didn’t want to step out of the shower onto them. The door knobs were sticky as were the table tops. The cleaning crew seemed to have done a very quick wipe down rather than a true cleaning before our arrival. I would definitely not recommend if you have small children who will be crawling around on the floors.

Outdoor spaces are not what they seem
We enjoyed our time in TN. As a group of two families, 3 under 5, the house had plenty of space to accommodate the large group. Our teen enjoyed making the game room “her room”. The pool table was nice, but definitely shows its wear. We initially planned to stick close on Saturday; have a bonfire, ride bikes, etc. However, the exterior photos of the yard are deceiving. The entire property is sloped, not a single level spot in the yard. The corn hole boards are available, but between being stored outside (warped) and the slope of the yard they were not used. Thankfully we left bikes behind. It would have been a trip to the ER for younger children to ride on the steep driveway. The fire area is much smaller than pictured and tucked behind the back corner of the house. There are also a couple other houses very close. Exercise an abundance of caution with littles outside as the driveways are separated by less than 3ft. and the neighbors enter rather quickly. Due to the strategic photos taken, these hiccups were not anticipated. We chose this house specifically for the outdoor space and unfortunately were not able to utilize it to the desired expectations. The house itself was good. Nothing could have been done to correct the issues during our stay and we made the best of it. However, posting more accurate photos of the outdoor spaces could have led us to make a more accommodating decision for our group needs with a future booking.

We had such a great stay with two families of four! The location is perfect, not too far from activities but nice and quiet! Potter’s House 5 star review!
This was a perfect house for two couples traveling to Tennessee for the Smoky Mountains Half Marathon weekend. We couldn’t have had better accommodations. Home away from home
This was our first vacation together as a blended family! We couldnt have been more pleased with our experience! Short Family Getaway
Property was nice with an amazing view. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our family. The kids enjoyed playing in the game room and we all loved eating on the porch. I appreciated that small things provided like soap, coffee, and a high chair for our baby. We wanted to visit the mountains without all of the hustle and bustle of crowds and this was a perfect relaxing getaway.

Spacious, great location, amazing view!
Having stayed in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg areas in the past, I absolutely loved the location of Potter House.The view was incredible, enjoyed hanging out on the porch, especially early morning with the birdsongs . Great location,family was able to do more, with less time stuck in traffic. Don’t think I will ever want to stay anywhere else! The house itself was roomier than pictures show, the host was responsive and welcoming. After 2 busy days hiking and spending an open-close at Dollywood, our last day was a relaxing drive to Cades Cove , visit some shops and an afternoon spent at the pool… to be followed by playing a few games of pool at the house. All in all a great trip! Thanks again to Andrea for quick responses and great local suggestions!
