Our stay was very pleasant and our hosts were very kind and friendly; however, there were some issues that weren't identified until it was too late to cancel.
Based on the listing description and photos, we thought this was a single level cabin. Unfortunately there was a Very Steep step down into the master bedroom and no handrail for assistance. If you have any disability with your knees, hip or back, I don't recommend this cabin. Also, we were not aware that they drained the lake starting in Sept, so there was no lake/dock for us to enjoy. We were also advised we could not use the fireplace which was one of the amenities we were looking forward too, but unable to use. There was no where to put your belongings, so living out of your suitcase while on the floor was the only option.
Finally, there is a beautiful oak tree outside of the master bedroom, so be prepared for those acorns to land on the roof...all night long.
I recommend bringing your own cookware or eating out as some of the frying pans are quite old, scratched and stained from previous guests.
Overall this is a cozy little cabin, but with a few upgrades it would be a charming place to go back to...at least in the summer when the lake returns.
