Renting was easy. Communication was good. Cabin was what I expected, comfortable, quiet, well laid out. Could have use a little more cleaning but not bad. I would rent again.

Terrible experience
The location and view from the outside was great, but the inside of the cabin had obviously not been cleaned prior to our stay. Immense dust everywhere, dried food on “clean” dishes and hair on the walls in the showers. On top of that, there were huge leaks in the ceiling in almost every room. The kids could not sleep in one of the beds due to a leak right above the bed and we couldn’t get in the shower in one room due to the issue. With the time of year we went and getting snowed in this was a huge inconvenience! My pregnant daughter was shocked when turning on a light switch due to the leaking in the walls or faulty wiring I’m assuming. We reached out to the host to handle privately, but unfortunately have still not been contacted in regards to the issue or the stay. Very disappointed that this was how our first Christmas together in years was spent.

What a beautiful location up in the mountains, just miles from Pigeon Forge. We rested up from work and got to enjoy helicopter ride in town. Shopped and ate but mostly stayed at the cabin because it was so perfect. There are neighbors near by (maybe a half acre away from this cabin on both sides), trees all around will block your view, though! It’s secluded and refreshing! For those who are curious - the lay out of cabin was perfect for older folks like us. When you walk through front door; the bedrooms are on either side of you, you walk down 5-6 steps at end of the hall to get to the living room and kitchen. There is a large patio with big hot tub, 4 rocking chairs and a grill outside the kitchen/livingroom. Some cabins have around 15 steps up to second floor and it’s exhausting taking luggage up and down. Not this cabin. It’s easy. Simple but perfect 😍

Everything was great except the cleanliness of the cabin. Floors are dirty, dust on top of refrigerator, Popcorn and peanuts in the sleeper sofa, hair in tub jets. Would be an extremely nice place to stay if cleaned.

Cabin was disgustingly dirty. From food left in the fridge to piles of trash in the corner of the living room. Mold on the bedroom wall. Trash under the beds and in the washing machine. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Huge dead bug on top of fridge. It looked as if the cabin had not been cleaned in months if not years. So disappointing.

Great location, minor inconveniences
We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was pretty clean. There were some cob webs up on the ceiling in the bathrooms and a blanket that smelled like dirty dog, but overall the cabin was super clean. Our daughters loved the soccer table and having a tv in their room. I was bummed that the jets in jacuzzi tub didn’t work, but we still had the hot tub. The beds were definitely no comfy hotel beds, but I slept fine. One of the beds had a spring poking through the mattress. Other that, the cabin was super cozy! We would definitely stay there again.

urine on toilet rim and I do not lift the rim to pee. Bed sheets unlaundered, 5 forks and 3 spoons with no hand dish wash detergent. Enough dishwasher pods for 3 days so if you are staying longer bring your own. cob webs and spiders everywhere. I do not believe the owner knows the condition

Great location and perfect setup for us, our adult son and pups! Morning coffee on the deck and an evening soak in the Hot Tub. Very relaxing. Easy checkin and checkout- no issues on our stay. Loved that the place had a Keurig! **Water did have slight sulphur smell when first running but could just be the area.

We loved the location and the cabin was very pretty and had everything you need in there. Honestly, the only thing was that one of bedroom’s jacuzzi jets on the tub didn’t work. Other than that i would highly recommend this cabin rental.

Nice get away for our family. Especially since it had been 16 months since our last vacation. Cabin was nice but could use a good dusting on walls and ceiling fans. Had an issue with strong smell of smoke and marijuana when we first arrived . This is a SMOKE FREE CABIN, but this was quickly addressed by Rhonda. She sent someone out with a machine to pull smoke and marijuana odor out. We had to leave the cabin for about 2 and a half hours while this was done but it was so worth it! When we got back the odors were gone. You definitely need to make sure you have a four wheel drive vehicle if you plan on staying at this cabin in the winter months. Very narrow inclined roads. Nice to have a washer and dryer unit to have clothes cleaned before you leave home. Very quite area. Nice full time neighbors too. Overall we had a good time!

Filthy!!! Mice droppings, vent disgustingly filthy , table placemats dirty, cabin was dirty!!!
We were exhausted from a full day of traveling. I was told you the cabin had just been cleaned. NOT! We were too tired to leave to have the cabin cleaned. We made do. I was so upset I didn’t call. I have used VRBO over 25 yrs almost yearly. This is the only time I have felt I should complain. One other time VRBO rented us a cabin with cabin company and it wasn’t the rate VRBO usually has. For the cost of cleaning is so exaggerated for what should have been taken care of in a routine cleaning. I’m a retired teacher and I’m not one to be high end picky. But this 3 night stay was not as it should have been due to the cabin’s lack of proper care. I’m disappointed in VRBO as well as Fireside Cabins.

Quiet and Convenient
We liked that this cabin was 10 mins from Pigeon Forge’s many restaurants and gas stations, and 30 mins to the National park. The view was okay, and the porch was very enjoyable. WiFi was not very strong at all. My biggest complaint is the cleanliness. There were cobwebs on walls/ceilings, caked on dirt/dust on the ceiling fans, bathroom fans, and door trim. There were also weird dark stains on the ceilings in the bathrooms, and a few places in the bedrooms. One of the toilets kept leaking — I assume a bad gasket ring. A lightbulb was burnt out in the same bathroom, and it looked like there was mold in the shower/tub (because it’s a wood surround). The kitchen cabinet doors all stuck, so I wonder if those need a good degreasing. I wasn’t expecting luxury when I booked this cabin, but just attention to details would have been preferred, especially at the price we paid and the cleaning fees that were added to it.

Such a cozy, secluded cabin!
We enjoyed our stay, very cozy, loved the view, very secluded and quiet! Loved the Jacuzzi only after figuring out on the last night, that it had a slow and fast jet option, bc it was broke and you couldn't read it. My husband had to change out alot of light bulbs and lord the air filter looked like it had a fur coat on it, so we bought one. A lot of cobwebs and dust and the couch bed needs to be addressed. Overall regardless, enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Perfect getaway!
