The Space:
This cozy cabin boast 2 queen bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. Upstairs private bedroom with King bed. Wood burning fire place, large screen tv's & hot tub provided. Douglas Lake Resort has community pool and boat launch with trailer parking. Bring your boat or rent one from many marina's locally.

Guest Access:
Guest have access to the entire cabin, community pool, play ground and boat ramp access. Trailer storage is also available.
Parking for 2-3 cars.

The Neighborhood:
Douglas Lake Resort is located in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Just minutes to all of the major attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Easy drive and access to property. Close to shopping and groceries. Douglas Lake Resort offers guest boat ramp access to Douglas Lake, community pool and play ground.

Other Things to Note:
Close to Pigeon Forge Dollywood and Gatlinburg. Pool season is Memorial Day to Labor Day. Lake levels lower in the off season. Water levels are high from May to September. Douglas lake drops water levels after September. Limited water access.

My family and I booked this property back in January 2023 for a Thanksgiving family vacation. In route to this property we were informed after I reached out to inquire about check in information once we arrived that our cabin that we had PAID for was UNAVAILABLE. We were told that our reservations didn't make it over to the new computer software and that the cabin had been booked by someone else but were assured that VRBO would be assisting us with another rental. Upon speaking with VRBO their resolution was for us to go to the cabin and once there call them back and they would assist us with somewhere to stay for the NIGHT. Our reservation was for 4 nights and we were driving 5 hours from VA to TN. Due to this whole mix up we ended up losing all of our food we had packed to fix Thanksgiving dinner in the cabin bc we ended up having to stay in a hotel without a kitchen. Worst experience we've had and I will not use VRBO again.

Relaxing and a nice place to stay. Very comfortable Kitchen undersupplied not set up for staying in and cooking many meals. Ie: no pasta strainer, 1 coffee mug. Hot tub needs proper care

Beautiful Home
The home is indeed beautiful. The beds are comfortable, and the towels are nice. Our children enjoyed the hot tub as well. The amenities are basic to minimal. It was not "everything we needed". When we arrived the only soap in the house was dish soap. We asked for the bar of soap that should have been in our "starter pack", however it never came. We did most of our site-seeing in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mtns, so this location was a bit out of the way. It is perfect, however, for the lake.

Sweet little cabin!
Overall this is a really nice cabin and had everything we needed. The road to and from the cabin is super windy and narrow in parts so trips to town were planned accordingly. Neighbors who live nearby year round were very friendly. Host made checkin super smooth. We would definitely return. Thank you!

Gorgeous views and wildlife sightings
The place was very clean and comfortable. The rooms worked well for our group. Updates were recently completed as it looks brand new. It took a bit of a drive to get to Sevierville and Gatlinburg but there are multiple route to take to keep you out of traffic. There is a grocery store and restaurants within 10 minutes. Worked well for the long weekend trip.

We had a wonderful time in the Tennessee Fall Foliage Cabin! We enjoyed the wooden cabin and had so much character and charm. The cabin amenities were great especially the wraparound porch where we had afternoon cocktails while enjoying the wildlife. What a great place to stay and would come back again. The beds were extremely comfortable with extra linens and throws/blankets. We loved our stay!!! A+ on everything and highly recommend.

Great Sevier County vacation
This was a great cabin for our friend group to spend a weekend together. The location being close to the grocery and hwy, while still being secluded from normal traffic, was great. The hot tub and wrap around porch were excellent for the season.

Great Cabin
We came for my mother's 80th birthday and really loved the cabin, it was very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was nice and private on the back deck. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. My only suggestion is to bring a hair dryer and extra blankets. There was only one extra blanket, but all the beds have sheets and light comforters.

Great cabin that’s fully equipped! It is not close to pigeon forge or gatlinburg but that lends to the Peacefulness and the beauty of the lake. The property owner takes pride in his property and so do the owners of the neighboring cabins. I will definitely go back
