Anniversary trip cut short
The stay in the cabin was nice outside of the horrible drive up to the cabin. The road definitely needs to be tended to. The cabin was very nice but due to Hurricane Helene we had to leave 2 days early. Unfortunately the rental agency refused to refund the days that we had to leave early. And thankfully we left when we did because had we stayed the full time we never would have made it back home due to flooding and total devastation of I-40.

The description of the property is pretty spot on. The drive up to the cabin is rough, but its worth it. It was a great trip. Would definitely recommend this cabin

Total private getaway - need 4 wheel drive!
We stayed for our 20th wedding anniversary. Very secluded cabin and very private. The drive up to the cabin is staight up on mostly gravel single roads with huge holes. It takes a good 10 minutes in a 4 wheel drive to get to the cabin. Once there, it's paradise with no barking dogs, hooping/hollaring, or traffic noise. Just God's creation and pure silence with the cicadas in the background. The cabin was clean and just enough room for the 2 of us. The hottub felt wonderful on our backs and feet after shopping and walking all day. We highly enjoyed our away-from-life trip to the Smokies. Highly recommended

This is the best property i have stayed at in the last 7 years. We get a cabin evwry year forthe weekend for our anniversary. This one will be a repeat experience. It requires 4X4 to get there and that was actually a bonus to me. Unlike other visitors we were not lucky enough to see a bear but they are in that area a lot.

Cabin Fever in Wears Valley, Tenn
The cleanest and most beautiful decorated cabin we have ever stayed in while visiting the Smoky Mountains. The solitude is wonderful and the quietness is restful. However, you do need 4x4 for steep inclines on the gravel roads and driveway.

Relaxed to the max
Family of 3 vacation. Never ran into another soul, which was wonderful. The cabin itself was very comfortable and we spend a lot of time in the hot tub due to heavy rains which ended up being very relaxing. We saw several bears in the driveway on different nights. Enjoyed playing and teaching our son billiards. It is a “climb” to get up the mountain, but we had no difficulties in our Telluride. Local food was enjoyable and it is close to the GSM entrances.

Great weekend getaway
Girls weekend getaway. We rented a few cabins and I shared this one with my sister. It was great. Yes like other reviews, copper well water and not strong pressure but it did the job, to be expected in a cabin. STRONGLY recommend a high clearance vehicle and preferably all wheel drive. We had no issues in our SUV. Great vaca.

Nightmare
We weren’t warned of the conditions of the roads and closures at 1:00 in the am we slide of the road on the mountain and we’re told by the sheriff to stay put until morning . We were almost upside down ! We crawled out and walked in the snow up the mountain for 1 mile freezing, falling down crying , praying and finally made it to the cabin . Over all the cabin was warm so God answered our prayer ! We had no food at all ! We ended up renting a Jeep got groceries and it took two days for towing to get use out ! There were others that weren’t warned about the condition too cars everywhere off the road. We stayed one night of the three we booked and went and rented a hotel in town !

Secluded cabin get away
My wife and I booked this listing cabin for our 5 year anniversary. It is perfect for a anniversary trip or someone who is needing to get away for a bit and is wanting to relax and disconnect from the outside world. No exaggeration, you will need all wheel drive at a minimum to get to the cabin.

Wonderful Getaway
the Cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It was beautifully clean and secluded. We really enjoyed our time there. The only issue we had was finding the cabin. Our printed directions put us on the wrong side of the mountian. We were able find a nice local person to help us out.

Beautiful Cabin
This is a gorgeous cabin. The interior is beautifully decorated and very “cabin-like.” It was clean, organized and had everything you needed. Definitely need 4-wheel drive in any season. The roads up to the cabin are very twisty-turvy and had a lot of holes. They really should be fixed ASAP as it adds to the danger of the toad! The cabin is very secluded and it is pitch black outside at night. Not another soul around! If that’s what you’re looking for, this cabin is for you! This cabin is literally on a cliff, all sides are hills. Not great for small children that can’t be left alone. My 2 boys (7 and 4) wanted to go out and explore. I wouldn’t let them without an adult. It took about 8 mins to get from the cabin driveway to the main road. The roads are very bumpy and tight turns/curves so it’s not really convenient to go back to the cabin several times a day. All in all, I would recommend to adults who need some R&R as the cabin was beautiful and very peaceful!

Beautiful cabin in the woods
This was a beautiful property hidden at the top of the mountain! Very clean and well-kept. The hot tub was very nice and the swing on the deck was a favorite for us. The pool table was amazing and we had 2 people sleep comfortably on the queen sleeper sofa. Would DEFINITELY recommend AWD at the very least in dry conditions and 4WD in wet conditions. The road up the mountain is not paved and is not perfect by any means. We were too scared to even go down the driveway out of fear of not making it back up.

Directions and preparation
Do not use Google maps to get to the location, because it takes you somewhere totally different. The Waze app takes you right to the house. If you are planning to stay for more than 1 day, be sure to bring toiletries (including toilet paper). We were supplied 1 roll and was told by the front desk that we needed to purchase our own.

Wonderful woodland refuge
This cabin was just what my girlfriend and I hoped for when we went on our small vacation. Beautiful little property nestled away in the woods, with all the modern conveniences to make it a perfect getaway. I will, however, make two recommendations for those thinking about visiting this area. 1. DO NOT TRUST GPS! Following the coordinates that Google Maps had for the property, we ended up on the other side of the mountain from the cabin's location. Luckily, the main office for the property was open and we were able to stop by there to get a map and instructions on how to get where we needed to be (Thanks Jordan!). So, before arriving, I recommend you call up/stop by the main office and get detailed instructions on how to get to the property so you don't waste time hunting it down like we did. 2. As others have stated, the path to get to the cabin is very...mountainous. AWD or, at least, a capable SUV (like we had) are highly recommended. Most of the roads are gravel with lots of long climbs/falls and switchbacks. These are my only two "complaints" about the area, if you can call them that. The cabin itself is perfect and I highly recommend anyone thinking about staying here to do so. It's secluded enough to feel like you're away from everything, while still being just a few minutes away from local restaurants and shops. We'll definitely strongly consider going back here again, should the opportunity arise.

The cabin was the most peaceful one we have stayed at yet. We did not need a 4x4 but can see why it is recommended. I ha e an SUV and had no troubles getting in and out. We look forward to booking this cabin again.
