Sunset Villa gives you a front row seat to beautiful bay views of 1770 and spectacular sunsets. Only 50 metres to the parklands along the gorgeous Foreshore’s boardwalk. There are numerous beautiful beaches to explore, swim, snorkel, kayak and laze around on all day, with BBQ pagodas and children’s play areas. Pets are welcome, please get in touch, $100/pet/stay. Please note the property is unfenced.
The Space:
Sunset Villa is a rustic, high-set house nestled within the trees by the bay of the historic 1770.
Sunset Villa has a queen bedroom with two single beds, shower recess with separate toilet, full kitchen & dining area, open plan living area with lounge and TV, front enclosed deck with outdoor furniture and BBQ, laundry with washing machine, and air conditioning and ceiling fans are available.
There is no Wi-Fi available; Sunset Villa is the perfect place to unplug and unwind.
Please note that Vodafone does not operate in the area and other mobile networks can be limited/patchy in Agnes Water & 1770.
Given the location of the house and the flora and fauna around the property, it is possible that some wildlife (bugs, lizards, frogs, birds) may frequent the verandah and garden areas.
Up to two pets are welcome; please get in touch, pets are $80/pet/stay.
Please note the property surroundings are unfenced. There is a downstairs space which remains locked and is not rented.
Guest Access:
Guests have full private use of the property and yard area.
The Neighborhood:
The area is surrounded by National Parks, pristine waterways and long stretches of unspoiled beaches which front onto the Coral Sea.
Along the headlands of Seventeen Seventy visitors are offered amazing panoramic views across Bustard Bay, the estuary & creeks.
We enjoy an excellent year-round climate with Queensland’s northernmost surf beach at Agnes Water for surfing and beach activities.
Along the Bay at 1770 you can walk along the parklands and enjoy kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding.
It is a short drive to the variety of cafes & boutique shops in the Agnes Water shopping Village or walk down to the beautiful Agnes Water surf beach for a leisurely day along the water.
Getting Around:
We recommend guests have a vehicle to travel around the area.
There is a shuttle bus that can offer tours, pick up/drop off services from your accommodation, the train station or airport. Please get in touch for more information.
There is a tourism information centre in Agnes Water.
Nearest airports: Gladstone and Bundaberg- 75 kilometres.
Nearest train stop: Miriam Vale - 50 kilometres.
Bus: Greyhound travels to the area daily.
The bus stop is at the Ampol service station in Agnes Water, approx. 8 kilometres away.
Please note that Vodafone does not work in this area.
Other Things to Note:
Parking is off street within the house block yard area.
There are a couple of stone steps from the parking area to the entrance.
There are a couple of steps to the front door. Inside, there is a step down from the kitchen into the lounge area.
Unfortunately, this property is not suited to wheelchair users or mobility impaired persons.
