This condo was absolutely perfect for our family! The views and beach are spectacular. It was quiet and serene. The condo is comfortable and well-appointed with everything we needed. It’s in a great location just north of Seven Mile Beach. A fabulous vacation!

Pure Paradise
Choosing Sundowner #8 was the best decision we made when traveling to Grand Cayman! The location can’t be beat and the views were incredible. The unit was very clean, well equipped, and suited our family’s needs perfectly. For those traveling with kids, there were a few tubes and noodles as well as some basic snorkel gear to keep them occupied at the beach. I’d recommend traveling with or renting some beach toys if you have little ones! Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay. Some suggestions would be more hooks for drying towels in the downstairs bath, purchasing some additional forks for the kitchen, and making some board games available on the off chance of some rainy weather. Thank you for a memorable week!

My family took a short trip to the Cayman Islands and we found this wonderful condo. It was centrally located, very clean, well stocked and right on the beach. It was perfect for our family of 3. The property manager was very responsive and surprised us with a few welcome gifts. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This was a clean updated condo on the beach, that was well stocked. Great view from the second floor balcony, and a great place to have your coffee! It was nice to have a cooler, floaties, and beach loungers! A grill would have been a great addition! Quiet area and good location!

The condo was beautiful and the view was just like a postcard - simply breathtaking. It was very quite as the building is set back off the main road. The condo is very well stocked. A few items that would be nice are a pizza cutter, oven mitts and maybe some insulated glasses to take down to the beach.

Corner of Beach and Paradise
Sundowner is the perfect location to experience all that Seven Mile has to offer. The beachfront is truly exquisite. The property is clean, spacious and well-stocked. A home away from home! The rooftop patio is the perfect place to enjoy Cayman sunsets and you can easily walk along the beach to several hotels and restaurants for a meal or drink. We appreciated the beach towels and beach furniture available to us as well. Sundowner has thought of everything! Our family had a wonderful vacation and we look forward to returning next year.

Our family of 6 stayed at Sundowners and loved it. It was very peaceful and relaxing. No waking up early to reserve your beach chairs, there were always some available. The condo was recently renovated and very clean. Joyce, the property manger was wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay in the Sundowner! The condo was updated and very clean. Any time we had a question, Janice was quick to respond. The beach felt like it was ours to have with very few people. Snorkeling was amazing! Would come back for sure!

Great quiet location on the beach!
Overall enjoyed the stay. To note this property is on the second floor and you have stairs inside to the 3rd floor master bedroom, outdoor portion. As soon as you enter the water there is alot of rocks for 10-15 feet before you hit the sand portion of the water part. Was uncomfortable getting in and out. That was the only thing I can complain about. But besides that was awesome budget friendly option. Definitely rent a car if you plan on staying here.

Great location, newly renovated condo
We are regular Caribbean travelers and would rate 8 Sundowner as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was close to a big supermarket which was handy, and not far to dozens of restaurants and cafes. Manager Joyce was great. We would highly recommend this wonderful condo.

This is located in the most beautiful spot on 7 mile beach. Idyllic beach front away from the throngs of the tourists. Great apartment, very well stocked and lovely property staff who were superb to deal with - nothing was too much trouble! The balcony is the most wonderful place to see sunrise and sunsets - will definitely come again!

The property was great. The views were amazing as well. A couple of things that can be improved are the drying machine. It doesn’t seem to work that well. We tried doing a load and it took 2 1/2 hrs for the dryer to properly dry everything. Also they need to put some felt or rubber chair tips on the bar chairs as well as the dining room chairs so they don’t scrape the floor and make that annoying screeching sound (I’m sure the neighbors below do not appreciate that noise) other than that the place is amazing and would definitely recommend to other travelers.

A little piece of paradise!
We had an excellent time staying in this apartment. It is located in an ideal place – isolated enough from the crowds but still within an enjoyable walk on the beach to the livelier areas on the 7-mile beach and to most restaurants. The apartment is clean, modern, and very well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Communication with the property manager was pleasant and easy and check-in was seamless. We loved that the unit was only a few steps away from the water! We truly enjoyed having breakfasts on the balcony and a relaxing time on the beach, always with ample lounge chairs and umbrellas readily available. We sure miss this little paradise!

Just Perfect!
We absolutely loved our stay at Sundowner 8. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and great location. There is a gorgeous beach out front - beautiful fluffy sand and crystal clear water. You can walk the beach for miles and it is clean and quiet. The large rooftop patio has beautiful views and nice furniture, we really enjoyed having coffee in the mornings and stargazing at night. This complex is on a very quiet area of Seven Mile Beach, we decided it is our favorite part of the island. The manager, Joyce, is lovely and super helpful. We will definitely stay here on our next visit!
