Welcome to Cocoplum #5!

Fully Equipped: Lovely, light, and airy Island-style beachfront condo with fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, large flat screen TVs in the living area and master bedroom, cable, air conditioning, and ceiling fans in every room, internet and a telephone for local calls.  Enjoy your morning coffee prepared fresh in your Keurig coffee maker on the covered verandah overlooking the Caribbean Sea!  A perfect patio for outdoor dining to watch the magnificent sunsets.

Accommodation: The unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with a King bed in the master room, a Queen bed, and 1 twin bed in the 2nd bedroom.  (Sleeps 5).

Inclusions: 4 complimentary lightweight folding beach chairs are also provided for beach time.

Beach Access: Many visitors choose Cocoplum Resort for its proximity to beautiful beaches. Guests can access the beach directly from the resort, making it convenient for swimming, snorkelling, and enjoying the sun.

Convenient Location: The property is very conveniently located on Southern Seven Mile Beach and has a freshwater oceanfront swimming pool with a BBQ area, lounge chairs/umbrellas and a lighted tennis court.  You will have a free private designated parking space.

The condo is situated in a quiet and secluded location yet close to a wonderful grocery store on the Island, (you can even get your groceries delivered), top bars and restaurants, a gym, bakery, pharmacy, and much more!  Some of the best snorkelling on Seven Mile Beach is just beyond the condo, at the Wreck of the Gamma, truly amazing!

My family enjoyed 6 wonderful nights at this beachfront condo. We were able to snorkel right outside our door, enjoyed access to several other beaches and just minutes to downtown for dinners. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

lovely spot for families
We enjoyed our stay and the privacy this location has. The unit was clean and comfortable, the kitchen is dated and could use nicer quality cooking pans and better quality small appliances (toaster, blender etc) but the bathrooms are renovated, the pool is very clean, the beach is beautiful and private and the air conditioning is very cold. We would recommend the unit for a family trip.

Awesome place for our family
It was nice to be out of the way of the large resorts in a quieter setting with a pool and wreck snorkeling just off the beach. Loved the sunset views and easy and close parking. Anything we needed was included with the condo including kitchen amenities.

Great quiet location with close proximity to commercial areas and 7-mile beach. Jayne is very responsive and accommodative. There are many thoughtful amenities not mentioned such as beach chairs, floats, glad lunch boxes, etc. Kitchen is fully equipped and you can cook a full meal.

Quiet and Beautiful
We stayed 6 nights in this condo. We enjoyed the views of the ocean. The cruise ships were also beautiful to see and the snorkeling nearby was a hit with my family. The sunken shipwreck was close by with lots of fish to see.

Wonderful place for first time visit
This property is very centrally and conveniently located near lots of restaurants, a grocery store, a gym and many other amenities. We looked at many options for our first visit to Grand Cayman and are very happy we chose this location on seven mile beach. Great communication by property manager and condo was well appointed with everything we needed. Would stay again!

This property is a quick drive from the airport, a walkable distance from an excellent grocery (Kirks), and very close to several public beach access points. We rarely left the property, as the pool and beach met our needs. We were so impressed with this location, and it’s cleanliness, that we are planning another trip in the next several months.

The perfect accomodations
We stayed at 7 miles beach in the Grand Cayman and stayed in a condo in the perfect location with a perfect view. We had access to restaurants, bars, shopping and the food market within walking distance. Cocoplum was quiet, clean and just a few steps to the beach. The island is so beautiful and most importantly, its people are very helpful and friendly. At no point we felt unsafe!

Amazing Stay
Family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay l. The listing is very accurate and provides exact details of how the space look. Location is on the center of a lot of stores and restaurants near. Only small issue was one of the neighbors seemed very nosy. She peeked into our unit from patio a couple of times which was off putting.

We loved the condo. It had everything we needed and a beautiful pool!
This was a wonderful condo. It is situated in a great location to grocery store, restaurants and beaches. We would definitely come back. We were thoroughly impressed with the area and Gran Cayman. People are friendly and the public bus transportation was super. There are so beaches to explore and go snorkeling. The condo was situated in a great location. We spent a lot of time on the porch and in the pool! We would love to come back to this piece of paradise!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this property! Perfect location! Within walking distance to restaurants and shops, including snorkeling equipment rental, pharmacy, and wine/spirits shop. The condo complex was clean and quiet. The pool is oceanfront and the perfect, serene, distance to the ocean. The furnishings are clean and very comfortable. It was very nice having access to a washer/dryer in the unit. Saves on required luggage! We loved this property and will be back!

Wonderful Enclave Private but close to everything
Enjoyed the location and the facility. The grounds are immaculate , pool well maintained. Effectively have your own private beach. Complex is not huge which means it is more private and quiet than others places but you are 5 minute walk to long stretch of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with pristine carib water. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby without the noise. Only minor recommendation would be to replace the sliding door or make adjustments as it was very difficult to open and close without my brute strength :) . Would definitely go back.

Grand Cayman The Way It Used To Be
Cocoplum is an older low density (two story, 4-8 units per building) condominium project located on the south end of seven mile beach near to town. The beach has been somewhat eroded by storms, but there's still plenty of sand there, and you can walk a good distance north and south. The unit itself is well represented by the photos in the listing, and the appliances, dishware and linens all appeared to be nearly new. It's nice to find a reasonably priced oceanfront property like this that is nice and quiet like the island used to be.

As advertised! The view was everything we imagined. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the bench in front of our condo. The grounds are well manicured and the staff was very friendly and willing to help out in any way. The condo was perfect for us. It was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morning and a glass of wine in the evenings. The beachfront is rocky, but great for snorkeling. Although the rocks didn't keep others from swimming. We drove just a few minutes down to the road to enjoy the most beautiful beaches ever! We usually stay at a resort and had a few we were considering. We are so happy we made the decision to stay here!

Absolutely FLAWLESS!
As a seasoned traveler that generally stays in hotel chains - this was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! From the initial communication this was a first-class experience! The unit was stocked with just about anything you would ever need! We only needed our clothes and toiletries! The facility was immaculate! With germaphobe family members - this passed every test! The grounds were spectacular and the neighbors - totally awesome! I hate giving such a glowing recommendation in that I am afraid it might not be available for my next trip to the Caymans! I can't give a more glowing recommendation! Thank you, Don, for making this an awesome first experience with VRBO!

Relaxing spot, needs some renovations
We just finished a week’s stay in this unit. On the upside, it is a small complex of 10 or so condos, all with amazing beach views. We loved meeting the residents at the complex and enjoyed getting to know them at the pool area and while bbq-ing our dinner. The snorkeling just off the beach was fun and we saw some interesting fish near the shipwreck. It was also nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. The bed linens seem newer. It’s in a good location on the island with pretty sunsets in the evening. The grounds are well-kept and the pool was clean. The property manager was accommodating and very helpful. On the downside, this condo is in desperate need of some upgrades. The bathrooms and kitchen appear to be original from the 80’s and were not nice, with the exception of a few newer appliances. The unit sleeps 5, but only has seating (inside and out) for four, and only 4 beach towels were provided so we had to share. A couple of beach chairs and an umbrella would have been appreciated, as well as some larger plastic cups to use near the pool (we had to borrow from a neighbor). We were able to see other units here and in other complexes, and we were disappointed to learn that we paid more for this one than some of the more upgraded and nicer units. Overall we had a great trip. The island is beautiful, and the people are friendly.
