Our 3 bedroom recently renovated condo is at Plantation Village, centrally located at the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, about 10 minutes from the airport and within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, attractions and amenities. The condo, the largest floor plan in the development, could not be closer to the crystal clear ocean and has views to die for from its third-floor balcony. Patio furniture includes a 6-seat table and a sectional sofa with a pull-out base that converts into a day bed for those relaxing days when chilling out and absorbing the view is the #1 priority.
Inside is an amazing and tastefully decorated large open plan living area with a panoramic view, widescreen HD TV with plenty of room for everyone on the large sofas. The kitchen is fully stocked with new stainless steel equipment and tableware. Even a chef would be happy here!
In the Master Bedroom there is a super-comfortable king size bed, HD TV and en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The second bedroom features new twin beds and the third bedroom, overlooking the beach, features a queen size double bed and en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. All bedrooms have new furniture and bedding and fitted wardrobes.
Other features include a washer/dryer, a safe for valuables and new air-conditioning throughout. As seasoned vacation renters ourselves we know how disappointing it is to arrive and find tired accommodation with mismatched, second hand equipment. That’s why we when we renovated we decided to do a proper job, renewing virtually everything!
Outside Plantation Village boasts two large pools – one with a sea view immediately under the balcony from where you can watch hubby or grandparents looking after the kids in the pool, and an even larger pool in the middle of the complex. There is also uograded free wifi, a tennis court and two large BBQ grill stations, one a stone’s throw from the condo, and a kids’ play area with a climbing frame and swings. We live on island and are regular visitors to the complex, even sitting on the strata committee.
Kayaks, bikes and paddle boards are available from the resort at no charge and there is a dive gear cleaning station for scuba divers. We have provided a new travel crib with sheets, high chair, changing mat, beach toys, snorkel equipment and tennis racquets and some toys in the condo. You can snorkel in front of the complex (including to the Marriott’s artificial reef which attracts abundant fish and marine life) and beach loungers and umbrellas are provided for shade. A short walk away is the Marriott Hotel with a full range of watersports and great restaurants. The condo is steps away from West Bay Road and is on the bus route if you don’t want to rent a car though we would recommend a rental. Camana Bay with its cinema, shops and restaurants is a 15-minute walk, as are Kirks and Fosters the nearest large supermarkets. The resort office can organize any tours such as diving, Rum Point or Stingray City.
Check in is very easy - the resort office is open 7 days a week during office hours and will check you in and hand out hotel style key cards. Out of hours the night security will do the same. Early check-ins are almost always available (at no extra cost) so please just ask and we will do our best to accomodate.
BEACH UPDATE. After the passage of Hurricane Ian in September 2022 the beach got washed away for a mile or so south and north of the resort. There is a small permanent sandy cove so there is always a patch of beach. If you really want beach access from your condo look at resorts north of here. Buses to the public beach are $2 a head and go from outside the resort.condo is, but we have two large pools!
