"The staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. The morning breakfast in the White Oak Room was pretty good with a varied menu. The 2 bars were fine. Average bar food. The location was great. Within walking distance of everywhere including plenty of pubs, restaurants, tourist locations etc. etc. The public areas of the hotel were in pretty good shape and well kept. But the rooms were pretty old and dated. Especially the bathrooms which had one of those...

"Great location and has everything you could want in a hotel. We did get rooms that did not have air conditioning or an elevator( it was unseasonably warm when we went in March) but we opened the windows and there was a fan in the wardrobe and it felt great. Staff helped us carry our luggage upstairs. Very nice rooms. Do make sure you bring an adapter if you are from the US. Definitely would stay here again."

"Fantastic stay! Breakfast was delicious, the staff was very kind and welcoming. Parking was a bonus! I loved that they had the restaurant/bar as is was nice to lounge in the evening with a pint and not have to go far to get back to your room 😂"

"Checking in was easy. The hostess escorted us to the room since this was an older Inn. The room looked very cozy. The rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows. There is a pub with this inn. One frustrating thing; for 2 of the 3 nights we were there, other guests were loud, slamming doors, fighting in the hall, disregarding other guests. First night of disturbance was through 1:00am; and second night was after 2:00am. "
