"Parking was tough, if you came home past 10pm you were unable to park at the hotel. The breakfast could have some hard boiled eggs, bananas etc. It was lacking."

"The staff was very helpful and kind. The room is quite small but that was fine for two people. We didn’t find any sign to put at the door so we don’t get disturbed by morning cleanings, but somehow the staff seem to know exactly when you leave the room and clean it, even in the afternoon. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was very good. The most satisfying things were : pontillas gondola very close to the hotel and the possibility to go by ski because the end of a red slope is right next to the ski room (super easy to ride) And a nice discount to rent ski equipment. We will be back !"

"stayed for 5 nights with my adult son for a 5 day ski trip. it iwas an ideal hotel for a boys trip. we rented a junior suite with two double beds with a glorius view of the mountain and the cig-roc lift. the main entry and ticket office to the sestriere ski resort is directly across the street from the hotel. the ski check is below the ski ticket office so that was an added plus! we drove to the hotel rather than take a complex blend of trains and buses and with car rental prices so cheap in milan airport it came out to about the same price for two of us. the breakfast is ok. nothing cooked but enough to get by. the staff were kind and wonderful people. the only reason i gave 4 star is because the hotel feels dated but that was also charming. if skiing is your main object and you want to be as close to ski in/.ski out in a comfortable setting that doesnt break th bank, this is your best bet. "
