There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. It is well equipped Loads of books and dvds if staying in. We had a fair amount of wet weather unfortunately but was ok. "After a curious approach. The owner met us there and showed us around. It was a very quite, beautiful mountain apartment. Details outdoors were evident and comfort inside was great. This is just a peaceful beautiful place which capped of our italian tour perfectly. To return i would stay at least 3 nights. It is worth it. The area is stunning with many things to do"

"This place is amazing. Second time back here and just as good as the first time around - no better place in the Bologna area for a relax - and the bioorganic pond is a dream. The wine is also divine and well priced. The only thing they could improve on is ensuring there is always a table at the restaurant for any guests as if the guests don’t actively book a table, then it’s unlikely you’ll get a table on walking in at this popular spot - very busy!"
