"The hotel is set in a small village on the top of a hill overlooking Lake Como. The view is gorgeous, the restaurant was awesome and the staff are so lovely. I didn’t find the room particularly comfortable but we stayed in the least expensive room so perhaps the more expensive ones are a bit cozier. Our room was very basic and a bit run down but it’s an old building and has a lot of charm. Overall, it’s lovely but if you want luxury, I would recommend upgrading your room to a suite. "Although the steps up to the house are no joke, once you get up and see the views(day, night, it doesn’t matter, they’re all fantastic) you’d climb it all over again. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and a pristine and lovely house that had everything we could need. Don’t miss the pizza down the street as it was also delicious.
