"We had a wonderful time in this cosy, rustic chalet with impeccable views. It was great for two families and had everything we needed. Only things to watch out for are head heights - there are lots of low level ceilings and so not great for very tall people and lots of steep steps so not brilliant if you have any mobility issues at all. However for a stay very near to the Croix Fry lifts, easy ski hire, slopes, cross country ski and delightful walks it was perfect."

"My husband, myself, our adult son, and 3 mother couples enjoyed a lovely vacation at Chalet Shiraz. Every couple had their own room with a king size bed (or 2 singles) and an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped to accommodate our large group and there was plenty of seating around the dining table as well as on the comfortable living room furniture. Cependant, étant donné le prix que nous avons payé, je souhaite signaler quelques problèmes rencontrés.Tout d'abord, la porte d'entrée s'ouvre très difficilement en raison du gonflement du bois. "The chalet/lodge is on the road from morzine to avoriaz just after the last hair pin bend, tucked in the loop of the bend.Parking for 2 cars just outside front door.The ski slope is just off the corner of the bend, with the slope leading down to the super morzine lift. But due to the snow conditions, we elected to drive 5 mins up the road towards Avoriaz to the free parking by the Seraussaix farm, under the lift with same name. "Lovely property with ample parking for 3/4 cars, lots of space to store equipment and enter through the garage rather than messing up the floors in the house after a day on the slopes. Used the sauna a couple of times which helped with tired limbs. The hall way has a handy cloak room space and storage for coats and boots.
