"It's a lovely place, but they really need to consider 'comfort' for the guest. The beds are really hard, you can feel and see the springs of the mattress. A real hard night's sleep! Nowhere in the hotel is there anything soft and comfortable to sit on! The restaurants have hard chairs, the deck chairs by the pool are all hard. So you leave with a sore backside and back problems! great place to stay- has cafe & restaurant

"right opposite main train station (beware there are three!) old building well maintained with efficient lift. huge room on 2nd floor overlooked station but wasn’t noisy. tea & coffee (no milk) fridge with water big bathroom (but no hot water on 2nd morning which, when reported, was immediately dealt with) gigantic breakfast selection. restaurant open nightly with huge portions competitively priced- thoroughly recommend "
