"Situated on an isolated raised area just on the edge of the town this is a spacious property with comfortable beds. It is however rather bland inside with sparce furniture. It needs a table and chairs for eating together with a coffee table to help fill the space. The main lights in the bedrooms have no shades or ceiling rose, just the bulb hanging on the cable. We enjoyed our stay and made use of the pool and outdoor loungers. Overall we would recommend this property but it needs the addition...

"The property is very unique, special. Located directly on the Douro river with incredible views. The house was welcoming, comfortable and clean. The food cooked for us was always in abundance and delicious. They, Elena and Claudia, looked after our needs (dining, drinks, laundry, etc) very well and kindly. Pedro as our concierge was incredibly valuable. He helped us with every aspect of our stay - securing boat moorings, confirming reservations, acting as a translator, helping above and...

"We loved the villa and the surrounding vineyard setting! It was a difficult drive up without signage around the villa and would recommend arriving during daylight. But the drive was worth it!!"

"Petite pause sur le retour vers la France. Site et région magnifique. La vue du bord de la piscine est tres relaxante. La situation est idéale pour les amateur d'activité fluviale et de vin. "This is a great place to stay. Close enough to Lamego for quick visits and far enough away to relax and enjoy the area, view and sound of the river outside your window. Henrique and Francesca were great hosts, living just above us. Their brand new baby boy is a wonderful blessing for them. Unit is close to grocery shopping and all the area in the Northern part of Portugal. Enjoyed very much. "
