Apartment with pool use, terrace, historical centre, for family

“Le camere Pinte” is a Medieval Stone Court of 1.400 completely restored and modernized, made up of three large, bright and indipendent apartments located in three different floors of the Court for the complete privacy of the guests.
In each apartment our guests can feel the charm of the past combined with the comfort of the modern forniture (internet wi fi, washing machine, dishwasher, nespresso coffe maker, tv sat, dvd player, full equipped kitchen, orthopedic beds).
Each apartment is made up of 2 large bedrooms (for 5 or 6 guests), 2 bathrooms with shower, a full equipped kitchen, a dining room with big table, a living room with sofà and tv, and beautiful terrace with umbrella, table and chairs for the outdoor living to enjoy the great view over the sea.
It's new this year th PRIVATE SPA: the soft vapors of the Turkish bath, the regenerating silence of the Relax area with the chromatic play, the intense scent of Cedar wood from the Finnish Sauna, the energetic whirlpool of the SPA tub, are the comfortable corners of the “wellness program” that will delight your stay in our structure ... the private SPA is dedicated to the couple, to the family or to group of friends who, for 90relaxing minutes, can reserve an exclusive use of the SPA with an extra cost…

When our guests want to stay in a beautiful, large and real pool to enjoy the sun with their family, 5 minutes by car from the Court they can reach a quite open pool under olive trees; free entrance, umbrella and sunbeds for our guests for weekly stay.

The Stone Court is located in the historical centre of Sermoneta (our guests can park the car in front of the apartment) and it is the ONLY authorized and certified by the Government of Sermoneta in incoming foreign turists.
Thanks to our competence in welcoming guest and thanks to the high quality of the apartments, our structure is reccomended in the Novembere 2011 issue of 'Bell'Italia', one of the most famous italian magazine of tourism.

Why choose Sermoneta?
Our guests use our Apartments as a base for exploring the area around Sermoneta and the central Italy: located between Rome and the Mediterranean sea, Sermoneta offer the possibility to reach the beautiful beaches of Sabaudia in 30 minutes, Rome (by train or car) in 30 minutes, Ninfa Garden in 5 minutes, Tivoli with Villa Adriana in one hour, the famous Ruin of Pompei in a couple of hours...
Have a look of the detailed description of the three apartments of the Residence: “Ninfa Apartment”, “Sermoneta Apartment” and "Tellus Apartment".

Below, some Informations about Sermoneta: things to do, place to visit, itineraries, monuments, restaurants...

Sermoneta has changed little since its medieval conception, and the enormous fortress of Caetani Castle in the centre of the village, looms over and dominants the town and the valley below. Today, the castle hosts courses, seminars, and prestigious concerts. In July, there are concerts in the castle by well-known contemporary musicians and orchestras. The Caetani Castle is open every day from 10 to 13.
This medieval town is also known for the famous 'Ninfa Garden' that contains at least 19 varieties of deciduous Magnolia, along with birch, aquatic Iris and a sensational variety of Japanese maples growing in the eight hectares of the garden. To visit Ninfa Garden see the web site ""
The unique historic qualities of Sermoneta live on its Romanesque Cathedrals of S. Michele (XI century), Santa Maria Assunta (XII century, also famous for its frescoes of Benozzo Gozzoli), San Giuseppe (XVI century), San Francesco (erected in XI century by Knights Templar) and the Cistercian Abbey of Valvisciolo (XIV century). All of these churches are in the historical centre of the medieval town near the apartments. Don't forget the camera!
The historical centre is full of Open air restaurants and di bufala, prosciutto crudo, fettuccine ai funghi porcini and delicious italian wines are waiting for you!

The villages offers year around Festas, and in particular in the month of May, there are concerts every weekend, as well as art exhibits, painting classes for children and much more.
There is a medieval Festa of the Madonna di Vittoria in October, a Polenta festival in January, and other magical events all year long.

Sermoneta thanks for its medieval characterization has been the set for many movies like the Italian “Non ci resta che piangere” starring Roberto Benigni and Massimo Troisi or the American “Silk” from the book by Alessandro Baricco.
Also the film director Franco Zeffirelli (rewarded for 14 Oscar Nominations) fell in love with Sermoneta calling it 'The Paris of Italy'.

Great apartment
Very comfortable apartment and good, quiet location with great views especially from the terrace. On the edge of Sermoneta, which is a small and interesting medieval town with lots of excellent restaurants. Very cheap and easy to get to Rome by train and is a good base for touring the area. Not many people speak English in this part of Italy, so very grateful for all the helpful and detailed information left in the apartment by Marco.

Family holiday in Sermoneta
We spent two lovely weeks in Sermoneta. The appartment is spacious, with a good sense for furniture and a remarkable example for a new built villa in a pictoresque old italian village. Sermoneta is beautiful, a dream to explore and we enjoyed every evening, after returning from the numerous beaches along the Latina Coast. There are plenty opportunities for an excellent meal in one of the good restaurants in the village with breathtaking views over the area. But what we loved the most was the hospitality of our host Marco which was outstanding during our stay. Thank you Marco for a wonderful holiday, we spent a great summer in Sermoneta and can recommend the appartment very much. Ilias and Nataliya with the children.

Lovely apartment with beautiful view
Lovely spacious apartment with wonderful view stretching miles across the plains with the sea in the distance. We were two couples spending a week on the outskirts of this lovely medieval village - nice to wander around the cobbled streets during the daytime and in the evenings with plenty of nice restaurants to choose from. We also cooked several meals at the apartment as it was so nice to sit and admire the view. Marco was very helpful and always available if we needed anything. He arranged for us to visit the Ninfa gardens which were beautiful. Would like to have seen them slightly earlier in the year when all of the roses were in full bloom but it was still stunning! We visited the pool a couple of times and that was very pleasant with nice sun beds and a pool bar for drinks. There was also a very busy restaurant there but we didn’t go there. The train station is just a short drive away from the apartment with free parking, and we caught the train and were in the centre of Rome in 40 minutes which was great. We spent a couple of days at the beach and our favourite was Blue Bay at Anzio. A very enjoyable holiday - thank you Marco for your hospitality.

Hele vriendelijke mensen

Everything we needed in this Charming town
This apartment was very nice. It is new and was very clean. The sheets are a bit rough, but beds were comfortable. It was a bit hot so we were happy to have air conditioning although you have to leave the bedroom doors open as there is just one unit in the living room. We never went to the pool because we were so busy exploring this charming town and surroundings. We were disappointed that the Ninfa Gardens is only open a few days a month and the tours of the castle is only in Italian. However, Sermoneta was the perfect place to have a few days before we embarked on a cruise. The town is built on a mountain so there are a lot of steps going up and down. There are good restaurants and beautiful views. We managed to walk every street in the 3 days we spent in Sermonetta. Marco was friendly and helpful. We had the privilege of meeting Marco's father who lives upstairs. He showed us the before and after renovation photos of their property which we found very interesting. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Lovely apartment and host, fabulous location
Just back from two glorious weeks in Sermoneta. Our first trip to Italy but definitely not our last. The apartment is wonderful and just as you see in the photos. We didn't use the pool but did visit the wonderful restaurant. Sermoneta is picture book, Rome is within comfortable commute and the beaches at Sabaudia are wonderful. Final word to Marco, thank you for a wonderful holiday my friend, we are already missing the views.

Amazing town and fantastic views from the apartments.
Clean and tidy apartment with a host determined to do the best for his guests. The pool is lovely about 10 minutes drive away, perhaps 5 minutes if you are Italian. The town really comes alive on the weekend but is everything as described, sitting on hilltop with views to the coast and towards Rome. We had a couple of great meals out at Ghost and il Murino particularly, with good pizzas at Chichibo and some really creative thought into meat and cheese platters. Look out for the signs to La Camere Pinte as you come into the town to find the appartments and keep an eye open for the garage doors shown in the pictures. Ninfa's terrace is up above the apartment but still has all the panoramic views from the apartment windows. Some initial niggles with the wifi were sorted out by Marco. Rome is easily accessible by train and once there don't be afraid to use the odd taxi if the heat gets too much. The most we paid was about 10 euros to get across the main tourist central area back to the station. If you like authentic Italian, narrow cobbled stairways around the town, spectacular views and good food and wine, book it.

Absolutely Perfect
Lovely apartment in a beautiful small hilltop town. The apartment is lovely and has lovely views of the valley and out to the sea. What we loved most was to wake up to the town in the evening., have a nice meal followed by a Lemoncello or Amaro in the square and a nice short walk back to the apartment. Marco is a lovely guy and was very helpful to us . I would highly recommend you book one of Marco' apartments if you are coming to the area. Shane

Away from it all
Our family of 5 stayed in Marco's Ninfa apartment for 2 weeks in August, it was a great base for exploring Lazio. We visited Rome (40 minutes on fast, cheap trains), Pompeii, Vesuvius (2 hours by car) and the beaches at Sabaudia and Sperlonga (20 minutes and an hour) and had a day canoeing on Lake Paola too. The apartment has a stunning aspect and was spacious and comfortable. The sunsets over the plain were beautiful almost every night and we had wonderful views from the lounge and the upstairs roof terrace. We were only a few minutes walk away from the busy square of beautiful Sermoneta, the gelaterias, the bakery, the grocery shop and many great restaurants (we especially liked Chichibios and Trattoria Ghost). The pool was a 10 minute drive but it was great to be able to use it as much as we wanted. Marco is a wonderful host, very welcoming and kind and eager to share his knowledge of his local area. We had a fabulous 2 weeks and if you too like holidays away from the madding crowds, then I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough.

Perfect location! History, country, beaches
We spent 2 days at this beautiful court in Sermoneta, the apartment is clean , nicely furnished, with terraces. There is a dedicated place for eating outside with A confortable table and chairs looking at the beautiful view and its windows are facing the dramatic landscape of the countryside and the Sea of Sabaudia and Circeo beaches. The owner is a perfect host, always polite and helpful. The court is located in the middle-age Town of Sermoneta, the Caetani Castle is at walking distance from the apartment. We will be back!

Fin leilighet i middelalderby

Stunning views and unforgettable week
We spent a fantastic week in Marcos's villa with our friends from Canada to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. Marco is very welcoming, speaks excellent English and the villa was very comfortable. The terrace with BBQ and table seating was up a few steps and when there you have a stunning view of the valley. The villa had all we needed for our stay, very clean and tidy, both rooms had an en suite. There was even a washing machine which came in handy. For us, the location was perfect to use as a base. We travelled to Rome on the train ( 40 mins) and drove to Pompei which took us 2 hours. Sermoneta itself is stunning, the most beautiful unspoilt village with very few tourists. We had a short walk through delightful tiny streets to find the cafe for our morning coffee, and great restaurants in the evening.!! We also had the use of a hotel pool which was only a few minutes drive away, over all a perfect weeks retreat.

Beautiful Sermoneta
We stayed for two weeks in Marco's appartment. Sermoneta is a beautiful (and quiet!) little town, with spectacular mediëval architecture. The photographs of the appartment's interior are truly representative and reflect the stunning location of this place. There is a spectacular view and a lovely sunset over the valley each day. Be sure to visit Ninfa Gardens (caution: infrequent opening times, ask Marco!), the castle, and trattoria Ghost (ask for truffel lasagna). Rome is just 40 minutes by train, we visited three separate days. Swimming pool is at 5 minutes, ver nice. Strengths of this appartment: location, excellent host (Marco), swimming pool facilities, polite people. Weaknesses: cleaning (sufficient but not excellent), and bugs (ants, mosquitos, so pack your bug repellents!). Car is certainly needed! I would without doubt recommend it to anyone looking for quiet Italy with beautiful weather and stunning location. Also for family visits (we are family of three).

What a sweet place!
We stayed at "Le Camere Pinte" early this summer, finding this place on internet. What a lovely surprise! We planned to stay a week in Rome, but since we wanted also to visit the neighborhoods [Villa Adriana, Tivoli, ...] and have a go to the seaside, we decided to opt for this solution. Sermoneta is a small medieval town with a well preserved Castle. It is also topping the Pontina Valley, so you can have marvelous sights, especially from the windows of the dining rooms. This place is indeed 10 minutes driving to railway station which serves the line going Rome Termini [Central Station]; so effectively we could be in Rome in less than an hour, and still enjoying the foods, the nature and the views of Sermoneta. A couple of days were spent going also to Sabaudia and San Felice, no more than 30 minutes driving, for really relaxing hours laying on the beaches. The apartment is really nice and well furnished; Marco, the owner, was also quite helpful and available to advise us in our journeys. Last but not least, the price is truly competitive, looking at all you get. Definitively to be recommended.

Beautiful place, gorgeous medieval village
I stayed in Sermoneta with my family in September 2012 (with my wife and two young boys of 12 and 13)... the weather was very beautiful and in my opinion the medieval village of Sermoneta is a dream: stones, castle, churches, and open restaurants (in which we always had the italian "aperitivo" before dinner)...the apartment was very clean, bright and comfortable...we went to Rome by train and to Pompei...the sea is very close to the apartment (about 20 minutes but you need the car)...and finally Ninfa Gardens are very nice. Marco, the owner, is a grat host!

Vacaciones inolvidables
Gracias Marco

Amazing experience, definitely returning!
We had an amazing time in Italy, the court a great "home base", very cozy and comfortable to go back to after a long day of touring around. The newly built villa we stayed in was clean, which is a big thing for us and in a great location. The view was absolutely amazing when we were having dinner out on the terrace. The owner was very informative and helped us a great deal, I couldn't ask for better service! We were actually surprised that the price was so reasonable for where we were and how amazing everything was! I must say that we will definitely be returning to stay here on our next trip to Italy, which will be very soon if I can help it!

Sermoneta is a lovely town
My travelling companions and I spent a lovely week in this charming hillside town while staying in this apartment that felt quite like home. Sermoneta is quintessentially medieval in architecture and layout and the townsfolk are welcoming. The view from the our living room window was mesmerizing, food at the local trattorias was delicious, and the memories are priceless.
