"I suspect that it’s not tourist season yet and there’s no reason to open up the town-it’s still cool and rainy. Not much going on but really fine for our needs. Hotel is clean and modest. Staff is excellent. "

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Le temps n'étant de la partie (pluie et fraîcheur , 18/20° dans la journée et 6/8° la nuit ) Jean François et son épouse nous ont proposé gentillement d utiliser le chauffage. malgré tout avec les quelques rayons de soleil l environnement est superbe . Nombreuses visites de, la region : Bibracte et son Mont , l'abbaye de la pierre qui vire , Autun etc. Nous sommes malgré le temps content de notre sejour. "

"The photos don’t do the small house justice. The owners are both lovely and go out their way to help you make your stay, the most enjoyable it can be. The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."
