We were on a trip to Bergerac and this was a one night stop so we didn't reallyhave a chance to experience the pool/spa, but the outside sitting areas were nice and being able to get wine and beer was really nice after a long drive. The hosts are every attentive, and although we can't speak french very well and their english was limited Google translate saved the day, especially at meal time when we sat with Celine and her family"

"A beautiful setting with lovely owners. We were only there one night as we were passing through but the heated swimming pool was a favourite with my daughter."

"We were sidetracked and did not arrive until midnight on the day of check in. Celine had emailed me and when when I did not respond, she called to check on our well being and what time we would arrive. I felt bad that she was of course still awake at midnight to welcome us and unaware that she had other guests leaving at 5am so she had to be up super early to prepare those guests breakfast. Again super nice and accommodating people. Thank you so much"

"Beautiful property, manage by owner. Rooms are newly renovated, with modern touch, though some renovated building are from the 15th century. Love the peaceful landscape, with a quiet, small town nearby. Staff were very accomodating. Would come back again if I am ever in this area. Highly recommended."

"Stepping back into time staying in an 18th. Century Chateau with renovated beautifully decorated large rooms! Charles was our very charming host. He booked a dinner in town for us and had a great breakfast in front of a wood burning fireplace in the morning. Total luxury and experience. Also quite reasonable."

"Sejour agréable en general Petite fausse note : piscine froide , mise en route a notre arrivée , des remonter d'égout dans la chambre avec terrasse , le prix du repas d’hote excessif . Bon point : petit dejeuner de qualité , produits de region , et tres gourmand ! Le cadre tres reposant ! Des petites choses a dire mais globalement c’est une tres bonne maison d’hote !!"

"Looking for a suitable place to stay overnight before catching the cross channel ferry, we settled on the historic town of Sees (acute accent over firs 'e') with its magnificent twin towered cathedral. "Lovely and very quiet location but within good reach of some interesting towns and Cities. Farmhouse has some great walks close by. Locals friendly. We BBQ most evenings - kitchen well equipped."
