Royal Hotel Seoul is situated at a prime location smack right in Myeongdong shopping district. Shopping & dining options are wonderful with lots of options. Convenience is surely there! The only con is during weekends, taxis are not willing to pickup in this area as the human traffic jam is too much and too time consuming for them. So taking the public transport works better during weekends.

Loved our stay here!!!! The staff were wonderful and so friendly. The hotel is in heart of everything so you can walk to any place. We spend 1 week just around the hotel because everything was so near by and one of the most popular location street is located right outside of the hotel. The hotel itself is so clean and peaceful. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and the location was simply unbeatable. Right outside the front door are the bustling shopping streets of Myeongdong, and by night, the area truly comes to life. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to experience the lounge on the top floor this time, but it's definitely on our list for our next visit. The gym was well-equipped and a pleasure to use. One standout moment during our stay was when we were about to miss our KTX train, and no taxis were available. Three employees—MK Choy, St Lee, and Iw Hwang—went above and beyond to assist us. Their dedication was incredible, and the Operations Manager even drove half of our party to Seoul Station on his way home from work. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and exceptional service. These individuals deserve high praise, and I look forward to returning to this wonderful hotel!
