I stayed here for a weekend to visit some friends.
This is advertised as a hotel, but it is basically a motel. However, it is a well kept motel that is a cut above the standard, and in a good location for sight seeing. It is by a palace, museums and restaurants.
I appreciated that they seemed to had done things like upgrade the door locks, clean everything and provide a lot of things like snacks or amenities for you to buy in the motel. Also, no one bothered me in my room, which was nice.
However I have two major complaints:
1. I had a water bottle that was refilled and closed. So I don't know where the water came from or if it was clean, or if someone drank out of it already. I could have gotten sick
2. I feel like I was a victim of xenophobia here and I even tested this. I am an American. I checked in. I was moved to the side and had to check my temperature. Kind of normal. BUT. A Korean couple came in after me, got checked in first AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO SCAN THEIR TEMPERATURE!!! So I asked my girlfriend, who is Korean, to come in a bit awkwardly to make it noticeable and meet me in my room. THEY DID NOT STOP HER AND MAKE HER TAKE HER TEMPERATURE... really? Really? This is where most of the points I am knocking off are coming from. Either do it for everyone, or not at all.
