"Pleasant hotel and very good position for getting on/off motorway en route south. Comfortable room and comfy beds! No aircon and room very hot ...it was 33° outside. Had to open window which meant lots of flying things came in! Nice to get a kettle in the room.....a definite plus when in France. Most hotels do not offer this. Only gripe is paper cups...our drinks , both hot and cold began to seep through the bottom of them! Please use proper mugs! Good breakfast although basic!"

"This is a lovely guesthouse with a difference. Owned by a Dutch couple, I was welcomed by them and their huge dog. The room was clean and pleasant, an older-fashioned rustic country style that I'd expect in a Burgundian village but all well-appointed. The distinctive features of my stay (just one night on a business trip) was the communal dinner offered with Wouter and Lotte (hosts) cooking a massive barbecue and entertaining us around the table. Lots of Dutch visitors, but I didn't feel out of place and it was great to have that hospitable feel on a business trip. Wouter is a former Sommelier and his passion for the wines of the region shows. Breakfast was fulsome and scumptious, with Lotte's home-made mirabelle jam the highlight. A must if you want a novel experience in this lovely part of Burgundy."
