The luxury villa "Lucija" is located in the Kvarner Bay above Zavratnica in the Nature Park "Velebit" on the edge of the National Park Northern Velebit. New house built in 2018, 4 km from the sea, with stunning views of the islands of Rab, Pag, Losinj and Cres.
The house itself represents the owners lifestyle and all the other details, invisible to the eye, are hidden in stone walls and massive oak wood, giving a picture of past as well as the present.
The beautiful property where this house is located, is inherited from owner's grandparents and primarily made as the one to escape to from the everyday routine and stress which is caused by nowadays fast way of life.
There is a lot to talk about the house and the landscape but what we want, is to give you a chance to feel all the benefits it gives on your own skin. But what we need to let you know is a couple of details about house interior. Villa is equipped with 7 air conditioners, underfloor heating and indoor fireplace which allows a stay during the whole year. On upper floor are two spacious bedrooms having their own bathrooms with hydro massage bathtubs.
Furniture is made of quality oak wood and there is also a small surprise for each guest.
In case you need there is two auxiliary beds and baby cot. What is stunning is the view on the islands of Rab, Pag and Losinj in which you can enjoy on the balconies of every room, while laying on the loungers with umbrella. While on this balconies you have an amazing sea view , on the northern balcony you can enjoy the view on the most beautiful mountain called Velebit.
On the ground floor you will find beautiful old-fashioned kitchen with 8 person dining table. It is equipped with high quality technique such as a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine, kettle, fridge, wine refrigerator, smart TV (in each room), WI-FI. Kitchen is connected with living room and there is also sauna and bathroom next to it.
There is an exit to the balcony from the kitchen with outdoor furniture to drink morning coffee or glass of wine for pleasure. When you are done with coffee you can jump into the oblique stone drywall pool.
Just next to this house, there is small one as well in which we have one bedroom with its bathroom.
The white road that leads to the house we deliberately let go of as it is because we wanted to retain and preserve the authenticity of the landscape we are in. As owners we are very responsible for this untouched nature and we strive to keep it the same as much as we can. We respect the animals that live here, and there are many, and we strive to respect our coexistence with them. We hope that You, our dear guests will also be able to appreciate that part of the untouched nature and enjoy all the benefits that it gives you.
Environment
Zavratnica, as the most beautiful bay of northern Adriatic is a place whre you must go to during your stay. You need to experience a 30 minute walk down the path along the sea and take a look on whole bay from her viewpoint just a couple of kilometres from the house.
If you are adventurous and enjoy hiking, marked hiking trail Alan, leading through the most interesting landscapes of Velebit, is by the house.
Surroundings
Islands Rab (Stinica) and Pag (Prizna)-Zrce as a famous party destination for ones who love to party. Cities nearby: Senj (37 km), Karlobag (29 km), Rijeka (120 km), Opatija (160 km), Zadar (120 km). Plitvice lakes about one houre and 30 minutes by car.
Adrenalin park Rizvan (Rizvanusa) about one houre by car.
In the immediate vicinity of the house is Stinica with supermarket and ferry dock to the island Rab.
Just 4 kilometres from the house is Jablanac, sweet, little place to drink coffee and take small walks by the sea.
Beaches
The sea in this part of the Adriatic is crystal clear, and it outlines each stone. It is a little colder, especially due to the winds and springs that descend from Velebit, and the salinity is slightly stronger than in some other parts, indicating the famous saltwork on the island of Pag. The beaches are rocky nad natural. There are a lot of wild beaches that can only be approached by boat, but these beaches are something special.
