"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

There is a large car park around the block from the apartment - handy information to know ahead of time as we drove past the property a few times before determining there was no driveway. The VRBO site noted close to public transportation- bus to London right outside the door! Close to dining options, and there is a nice supermarket at the car park area. "

"We found Riverside Lodge delightful, inside and out. Very peaceful and a pretty setting, with constant birdsong, visiting ducks, scampering squirrels, wandering deer and an evening flyby from a kingfisher. We went out less than we normally would because it was a treat to be lazy there, especially as we’d splashed out on the hot tub. "We found this property to be spotlessly clean. Great views and lovely outside seating area. A great place to relax and do nothing but read books, look at the stars or sit outside with a glass of something. We wish we could have stayed longer."

"A beautiful little cottage, spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We made the most of our short stay by visiting Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Salisbury and Bath. Being December it was lovely returning to a warm and cosy Rose Barn. The freshly made bread, butter, marmalade and jam were a lovely addition. We would definitely return."

"The property was very convenient as in the high street of Castle Cary so close by to all amenities and as our son lives just behind the high street we were able to get together for a family reunion over the Easter weekend. All the rooms on the first floor being the kitchen,two double bedroom's, bathroom and shower room were all well equipped however on the top floor where you had to duck going up the stairs the two bedrooms were linked together making it unsuitable for four adults...
