Loved the lagoon style pool. Loved the large room with direct water access (rm116). Very nice staff. Loved the rooster farm next door (not for everyone).
Hated, the room power going off everyday due to time coding on spare key card. Hated restaurant/bar closing at 3pm. Wife hated samey breakfast daily. I was ok with it. Needed menu variation. Hated that breakfast buffet not refilled till empty instead of before running out. Hated no room/hotel services info in the room Inc not even phone numbers. Hated house keeping removing hand towels we had requested every day. Hated house keeping not replacing room tea supplies to full quantity daily. Really...2 of us in the room. How hard is it to have 2 Tea bags? Hated no spare toilet roll without requesting it. Stressful. Hated bath towels being folded and recycled when obviously wet and used (happened twice in a 9 day stay. Hated location for us. We are older so the long Seminyak walk, with no bluebird taxis in sight, to get to anything a bit gruelling but not an issue if young and fit. By the way it's really in Kerobokan. Hated smoking rooms all around our non smoking room. Could not use the outside patio. Hated the builder hammering upstairs in the afternoon when we are trying to rest .
That said the staff were absolutely lovely and always helpful.
Property just needs an eye on providing hospitality and not penny pinching. Not when we pay over $1000 for a stay and there is cheaper to be had.
I would stay there again. Wife no!
