"The host was very helpful and fast to respond to any questions that we had. They left coffee, snacks, bottled water and ice in the freezer. The bed was very comfortable and the room was immaculate. The band next door plays until 11 on Saturday night but that was ok with us. We enjoyed the show from our room. It's located within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in downtown Laurel. The room was elegant without losing its rustic charm. dow Laur"

"Would have given a five star, except for the dirty bed spread on king bed. Was very dirty and needed washed. Other than that, this was the perfect place for our girl’s trip. We loved the openness of the loft, and was grateful for the washer and dryer, because we had been on the road for a few days. Breakfast downstairs wa excellent. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The Whitman is a quirky property in downtown Hattiesburg. The downtown area is very walkable and shopping is a short drive away. Would use this property again."

"Nice spacious accommodation in downtown Laurel. Within quick walking distance from Laurel Mercantile, Scotsman, and downtown shops. The sloping floor is a little quirky. Do not miss the 320 5th St. Bar which is just around the corner from the Laurel Lofts. Great bar food and cheap drinks. Tell Avery that Mike from Texas sent you!"

"We had a great time at this beautiful property and will definitely be returning It’s clean and very comfortable The surroundings are very peaceful The only problem is that people canoe past and stop and leave litter everywhere on the beach and all over the shores near the beautiful waterfall It’s a real shame people don’t care enough to pick up their own trash I complained to the owners of the canoe rental agency and requested they come pick up trash They claimed to be cleaning on Saturdays...
