"We only got to stay for 1 night and it rained so unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool or explore the property to its full potential. Even with that said it was one of our favorite nights of a 12 week Italy roadtrip. The owner was great - even though the restaurant on property was meant to be closed, he opened it just for us and cooked us the most incredible meal. We loved it so much we bought the seasoning as a souvenir. The renovated farm was charming and we would love to return someday. "

"I actually booked this hotel by mistake thinking it was closer to La Spezia. What a great mistake! We immediately fell in love with it and actually changed the next part of our trip in order to spend another night here. It is definitely off the beaten path, but that is what we liked about it. It’s in a charming little village and the building and rooms were great. They were so accommodating. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Thank you to the woman who worked reception when we arrived and for the very nice gentleman who worked the overnight shift, you all were great!"

The road in was not as precarious as others had mentioned and once at the home it’s fantastic. The views are wonderful and all the conveniences one would expect are at your fingertips. "This beautiful palazzo in a small remote medieval town nestled in the hills, but also close to the coast was the perfect location for our group of 20 people. The accommodation was very clean and spacious, with multiple kitchens and large living areas, perfect for group get togethers. The garden and pool area were lovely. A local bar was nearby for meals, morning coffees and pastries, with shopping about 20 minutes drive to Aulla. The communication with Mirella prior to our arrival and during our stay was excellent, and Francesco was very friendly and helpful with information and tips on where to visit during our stay. These included trails and restaurants, as well as some very interesting towns. One of the local restaurants provided an unforgettable location and a banquet meal that many in our party ranked as one of the finest they have ever had. We were also able to easily visit Pisa, Lucca and Cinque Terra during our stay. Everyone enjoyed this amazing location. It was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended."

"This is a beautiful house with the most spectacular view down the valley! Kids and adults loved the pool, either jumping in repeatedly or relaxing on the sun loungers. The house itself is huge, well equipped and a cool escape when the temperature rose. The location of the house is on a road but that didn’t bother us. We had a hire car which we felt was essential ( although there was a small bus that regularly went past the house) it was a short drive to the nearest village (you can’t walk anywhere from the house due to the road and the steep terrain) there is a lovely gelato place in Monti, a good Lidl in Aulla and we had an amazing lunch up the road in Comano after a great walk. We did a lot of driving in order to visit various sites but the Italian roads and tolls were easy to navigate and the scenery is so beautiful. Trips we made: Pisa, Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure and we particularly like the town of Lerici. We had a great holiday and I’m missing that wonderful view from the pool!"
