"Great location but listing stated pool and washing machine and both were out of action. Pool was green. Host said listing stated pool was not available but this wasn’t the case on Vrbo. And no solution for washing machine which we were counting on as this was our midpoint stay on a two week trip. "It started badly. It took 4 attempts to get check in details via 3 different people. Then, when we arrived at the admittedly charming location, things unravelled further. the very first thing that hit us was a fusty smell of neglect as we opened the door. We do not think the description or the website is accurate. Far from being - as promised - a charming holiday cottage with a warm and cosy atmosphere - it is a rundown, cramped, shabby bungalow in desperate need of maintenance. The woodwork...

"Truly a fantastic stay. The host was incredibly helpful including aiding with transporting luggage. The place is clean, comfortable, and is situated on a stunning cliff with amazing views of the sea."

"The property is located a very quiet and peaceful location and it is indeed surrounded by olive trees. The only drawback we found was that in order to walk into Stoupa for meals in the evening you have to walk a stretch (about 100 metres) on the main road - we did not like this. In every other respect, the property is perfect and we would certainly recommend it."

Hotels.com almost killed me with their directions

"Awesome place! Will stay again! My only piece of advice is to NOT use the directions available from the Hotels.com website! They connect you to a google maps set of directions that lead you to a road that becomes VERY dangerous to any vehicle (except a donkey!). Hotels.com should fix this before someone gets hurt!! If you run out of paved road, STOP AND TURN AROUND!"

"Like the name says this is a mountain resort. You will have a very windy Road up the mountain to the resort, but the drive is worth it. Great views. Our stay was in October and we were one of two couples at the resort so very quiet. The restaurant was not open when we got to the Resort. We didn’t expect to have a meal there. We were able to have a few glasses of wine in the bar before it closed at nine and the gentleman that worked that night was very helpful. The morning breakfast was very nice. Homemade jams and Marmalades. It was a little cool to use the pool, but it looked very nice. I think it would be a great place to go in the summertime for a relaxing holiday."
