PET FRIENDLY ! NO HIDDEN FEES FROM THE OWNER.

This owner operated property is the vacation spot for you!!! Endless water views will delight in every direction. Incredible sunsets can be seen from both very large decks. This bright and comfortably decorated Bayfront Cottage was completely renovated Feb. 2025. Owners keep this property updated and make improvements every year.

The two bedroom/two full bathroom cottage comes fully equipped for you to have a relaxing vacation or a great off season weekend getaway.The cottage will have all the conveniences you will need bed linens, bath towels, washer and dryer, full kitchen,TV'S in the living room and both bedrooms along with free WIFI. One bedroom (loft/full bath, shower tub) has two queen size beds and the second bed room ground floor also has a queen size bed. Both bed rooms have great water views and are water front. You will also have a weber propane grill for cooking out doors two bicycles, as well as two kayaks and corn hole.

Bring your boat along, you can dock it at the dock located on the property. Easy access to the Assawomen Bay and just minutes from all the Ocean City 'Hotspots'

This property books very quickly due to the laid back area we are located in but just minutes to the beaches of Delaware and Maryland.

The Cottage is great for your family vacation or a couples getaway. We are off of route 54 just 2 miles from the beaches.

Pets Fee is $265.00 for a weekly stay. The system can not calculate the difference between weekends and full weeks. I will adjust the pet fee when I see the fees on your booking request.


This property is owned and operated by Paul and Jessica Lebling. We are local and will take care of all your needs. Deal with an owner directly not a Broker or Management Company that may not return your calls.

Lovely Little Cottage
Our stay at the Fenwick Island Cottage is one we will not forget! The cottage was very cute, clean and in a nice and quiet location. It was just what I was hoping it to be and my family enjoyed the peacefulness as much as I did. I have told many friends and coworkers about this location. I'm definitely planning to come back again soon.

This home was located with spectacular views. Sunsets were incredibly. The dock was nice for fishing and crabbing. We totally enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Perfect location. Quiet but convenient to dining and shopping. Love the neighborhood, perfect for walking dogs. Our two small dogs loved it. One had visited before and remembered the vacation routine. We’ll be back!

Perfect getaway for our family (two boys 13 and 10 years old). We enjoyed catching crabs and so close to entertainment but so peaceful if you want a night of serenity. Will definitely look to come back here!

Fantastic views
House with beautiful views of the bay. Super comfortable and relaxing. Great covered deck to enjoy coffee in the morning. Sometimes too relaxing. We got a late start to the day. 4 adults stayed and we had 15 others in the area. We had plenty of parking when we all got together. Enjoyed a nice cookout.

Great getaway
Just spent an extended weekend here with my wife and our pups. Couldn't of had a better time. Paul was more than happy to accommodate our stay, and even stopped in to check on us. The house is quaint and compact, but didn't feel like it with the high ceilings and loft. The view of the bay is unmatched. We'll absolutely be back! :)

Cozy with great water views and access.
Property as advertised. We were a family of five not including our Mastiff. It fit us perfectly. We enjoyed the home completely including the plus’s they offer(kayaks and crab traps). We spent a lot of time on the decks enjoying the sights and sounds. The 2-3 mile trip to the beaches worked out just fine for us. Paul was very nice to talk to and we would enjoy staying again.

great vacation
We really had a great time in the cottage. Loved the views and the crabbing was so much fun. We did had an issue with the lack or a door on the second bedroom. My kids, although they are in their 20s, they still hated being woken up at 8am with us. I did not mind them getting woken up early, it made it so we could get to the beach earlier. I would rent there again for a quiet weekend with my husband but for a family vacation we need 2 bedrooms with doors. So relaxing and I loved being right on the bay, it was great.

Beautiful Cottage on Bay
This is such a beautiful charming little home. My husband, 2 daughters, and our dog spent a full week at this place and couldn’t be more pleased. We had coffee every morning on the upper deck and wine every night on the lower deck. The views are incredible. It is a quiet peaceful neighborhood within biking or driving distance to the beach. The house was very clean and the decor was so beachy. Towels and linens were provided which made it much more convenient for traveling. My husband and daughter used the 2 kayaks a few times that were provided as well. Thanks Paul for letting us use your adorable home. We would definitely come back and stay again. Fenwick Island is beautiful.

Perfect Getaway with Great Views
My family of 5 and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paul's cottage. Not only did it have everything we need, it sits right on the water and has the most incredible views of the sunset from 2 porches. We really liked the setup - 1 bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom downstairs, plus a loft with 2 more queens and another full bathroom upstairs. There's a porch/balcony on each level and you can see the water from literally anywhere in the property. The space was full of light and just what my kids needed after being stuck at our house for so long. They had the most fun taking the kayaks out (life vests are provided) and playing on the playground on the owner's neighboring property. There was a stash of books and family games, washer & dryer, and a well-stocked kitchen. Another surprising plus for me was the wifi speed. I was working remotely and the connection was just as good as my home connection and very fast. Perfect for anyone who wants to escape and get some work done or for a getaway for 1-2 families. 5 stars across the board. Thanks Paul!

Peaceful retreat
Off season, a peaceful cottage to relax, unwind, and get away. Beautiful bay sunsets right from your back porches. Paul was a pleasure to work with. Close drive to Ocean City, too. An all around enjoyable stay!

We had a lovely and relaxing week at this Fenwick cottage. It is just as described right on the bay with beautiful views and a quiet setting. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Check in process was simply and easy. Great property with unbeatable views. Close to so many good restaurants and short distance to several beaches. Enjoyable for both the adults and the kids in the group. Free use of kayaks and bikes a plus. Quiet neighborhood and good communication from the owners. Would book again. Bayberry Cottage is truly a gem with amazing water views, spacious interior ( both myself and my fiancé were working), and just perfect amenities. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place right on the water with close access to restaurants, beach and more! Host was incredibly gracious, polite and friendly.
