2/5 Poor
"My stay at Ramat Luxury Hotel was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to future guests. The road leading to the property is in terrible condition—our driver damaged his suspension and exhaust trying to reach the hotel. Transport to and from the area was difficult at all times of day, often leaving us waiting by the roadside for up to an hour.
The hotel fell short of the luxury it advertised. On arrival, I found ripped sheets, and the fridge wasn’t working until the manager got it running. Hot water was available only on request, requiring me to repeatedly ask staff to turn on the boiler. The room phone was disconnected, making communication difficult. Additionally, there was no advertised WiFi, which posed a major challenge and could have been a serious issue if not for my friend’s mobile data.
The most disruptive issue was the frequent power outages. Over two days, the electricity went out, disrupting my short stay in Ghana. On the first day, the hotel only secured a generator after constant complaints, by which time most of the day had been wasted. On the last day, the power failed again, and even the generator stopped working, prompting me to leave early.
On a positive note, the breakfast provided was good. However, the quality of breakfast alone couldn’t make up for the numerous issues throughout my stay. While the hotel has potential, and the manager tried to assist, there are significant improvements needed in infrastructure, amenities, and reliability. "
