"I was very happy with my stay at this location of a Parador. My room was large and had plenty of room to spread out. The room retained the style of the building. One strange thing was that the chairs for sitting were really short. Breakfast buffet was nice and had lots of choices plus you could order omelets and espresso drinks. I wish the restaurant opened at 7am"

"It was a clean and comfort stay. Check in wasn't easy as i couldn't call them became of my data plan. Didn't realize i would have to call when i got there. Eventually, someone working inside the building got the lady to check us in. She was very friendly and helpful. "

"This is a lovely property and large old stone house. The family that runs it is very accommodating and kind. The room was small but clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. A comprehensive breakfast was included as was use of the fridge in the kitchen. It is a bit of a drive to reach the property but easy to follow on a nav system. The WIFI didn’t work and we had to ask to have the heating enabled but still very much worth the stay. "

"We had a lovely stay here and loved the easy access to Pontevedra and all of the nearby Rias Baixas towns. Clean and beautiful property with wonderful hospitality from Emiliano!! He includes a nice list of local recommendations and we had a beautiful dinner at Restaurante Rural thanks to him! "

"The hotel was decent but the reception wasn’t open 24 hours so if you’re arriving late (around 11pm or so), you’ll always have to knock and wake up whoever is in there. There was one night that I almost didn’t get into the hotel because no one was at the reception and the main door was locked. Luckily, a woman who was also staying there arrived and called his boyfriend and unlocked the door for us from the inside. There was also a small spark or kind of a little explosion in one of the sockets in my room. I went to the receptionist but no one was there and waited for more than 30 minutes. A guest who happened to be an electrician helped me out. I decided to transfer hotels after 4 nights of stay. "

"Fantastic hotel! The operator George is amazing. He speaks great English and was incredibly accommodating. We arrived very early and he was able to get our room ready as quickly as possible. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is right in the centre and on the Camino trail. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Caldas de Reis. "
